Last month i decided to play the open skill league tournaments wiith a goal of making the top 500 or better. But after a while i had to many minus points and was disapointed i probably would be able to mkae 500 but not better and time involved was to much. So i look the last 3 month leaderboard and decided that i had enought point to stop playing and make top 2 000 and i stop on th 16th. and made it.
Now i wonder if i should give it another try this month.

You should keep trying to qualify for the Open Skill League, but you have too much patience and strive to achieve long-term positive results, you need to have perseverance and a strong mentality, I classify into an opportunity and I got a few dollars for my bankrooll

It is a good idea to keep trying, but have a strategy to go with this time so you avoid the minus points. Try being super tight first 35 minutes or so, pick your spots carefully, and make your way into top 1300. If you play enough tournaments with that in mind, you can eventually get a deeper run, why not a top 100, and your place at the end of the month will also be up to your goal. Also dont get flabbergasted if you have bad results, just keep trying.

So when did you stoped when you from 1929th place ended in 2000th, because when you r 1929th place, I think that in 1 day, max 2 days you will get kicked out from top 2000... If you stoped last day to play than that is very good decision

Hi mate.
That kind of tournaments freeroll, is just play a few get some points, and stop playing, if you are in a decent position, but try to make better position, you have to play every single day, and maybe 3 or 4 tournaments a day to make enough points and get higher on the ranking. I will tell you what i did and probably do, when i get into poker, i buy.in every day in 1 or 2 tournaments, and i don't play, because in the end i will end up in a position that give me points, and maybe to the 16th or 17th day of the month i haved played like 3 or 4 tournaments, to get more points, and by that time i see the ranking if i get in a good position i stop, and when the month get into 27th or 28th day, i see again the rank, and if i'm in the money, the top2000, good, if not i play a several tournaments until the months ends, and is enough to make top2000, just buy.in 18 or 19 tournaments, and play like 4 or 5.
