Minnesota-based poker player Jonathan Cyril Collins, a three-time winner of National Deaf Poker Tour events, was killed last month in Las Vegas in connection with a drug deal that turned into a robbery attempt.

Jonathon Collins is not a guy I have ever heard of before but not a good story to read and hopefully they will soon catch the people responsible. Also this is the first time I had heard of a deaf poker tour.
Well on one hand it's insane to go through multiple states for buying dope, cuz this easily became federal crime just by the long drive itself (and I assume he would go and later sell these as dimebags so there goes his innocence again - Minnesote didn't legalize pot as of yet), but ten pounds of weed worth nothing compared to a man's life, so killing for it is something ouright ridiculous and sad. Of course they maybe tried to sell him ten pounds worth of oregano, so he might be rightfully pissed of hence the shooting.
