"All" you have to do is bust a staff member(that you might not meet in tourney) then you get entry to Clash Of The Titans "simply" win that and you get entry to another huge tourney "simply" win that and the Million is your it's that simple

Just don't make the "classic mistake" of waiting till the last few minutes to register etc, in case there's a problem If he wants to play, then better to register as soon as possible, so Shaun can look into any problems there might be (not that I think there's gonna be any)
