Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier defeated a star-packed field of 550 entries in the $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em Six Max event. Mercier received the top prize of $633,357 and his third gold bracelet. His first two bracelets came in Pot-Limit Omaha events.

Well done to Jason Mercier but he was definitely a player who I expected to do well this year and after some online success prior to the WSOP he is probably a name we will see more of this year.

he is insaine... he is just shipping those tournaments... he got 3 scoop watchis now bracelet, and all of that in less than 2 months O.o He is probably the best poker tournament player now!!! I think if he stick to wsop he would be able to make some more bracelets
Well, this 6max final table was a nationality mix again, right? A guy from the UK, one from Italy, a fella from Ukraine and Australia plus two americans. Most rainbowy final table this year (though we probably had some mixed finals as well which I forgot already) as far as I remember.
