I was wondering since i lost every single time in tournament, how or when do u get the good hands and when is it good to bet?Cause in my playing i always get a hand in front of the table. Example 1st round get a 5 - J and on field it appeared 2-6-8-k-q and the second round i get this a 5 - J - some other cards , i find this quite awfull sometimes but i get this alot.So is there any tips on this one? or just go in when u got like A K , AA,AJ or maybe some KK.

Allin preflop off course will always be pocket aces, even if some people tell us that always lose with AA and get afraid of it in the future. Statisticaly it makes no sense, fear is irracional. It's hard to say what's a real bet, that's how you play well.

Hey,
I had the same problem over and over when I started, since I started to play more patient it gets much better. When I get a good hand like AA KK AK I raise from every position, i would never play J5 unless I can limp in the pot. You have to be patient, I always play another game in the background so I don't get bored.

You will need a lot of luck to win a tourney.
Early on when the blinds are low you can play tight and wait for good hands or good spots. Some players try to play a lot of hands as they think other good players play tight and they can win a lot of chips against the donks if they hit the flop hard.

There are several strategies for playing at tournaments. Pushing all in before flop its not good unless u have AA or KK. Hands like AK or AQ its better to play them safe and not risk a lot of chips. Calling on later positions when many people of the table has call to see a flop is also a profitable play. Good luck

its not just about your cards you need to consider position and your oppenents play style, you can play almost any hand agaist a really tight player just pop em when they continuation bet and your sure the flop didnt help them.

Absolutely. Once I won a freeroll which first and second place was a $100+9 tourney entry. I came with AA about 7 times and WON going allin everytime. I think it will never happen again, since I lost the last three tourneys at the first allin with pocket aces
