I was just looking at a the odds on who will win the WSOP main event and I was slightly surprised at the odds on offer for the players. For example,the favourites are Ivey,Negreanu,Hellmuth,Esfandiari all at 175-1.Some others include Doyle Brunson,Laak,Blom,Greenstein are all at 500-1. None of those listed I would consider betting on but some other great players like Schemion,Nitsche,Van Hoofe are all on big odds. Dan Colman 750-1.....Jake Cody 275-1.....Kevin MacPhee 1000-1.....Anthony Zinno 500-1..... For Breaking Bad fans there is a MR Walter White at 1500-1 Ray Romano and Brad Garrett both on 1500-1 Obviously picking a winner at this stage is not easy but with all of the BRM mobsters and their wealth of knowledge we should be able to pick a couple of good picks out.

Hmm could be a mug if done correctly, all those names looks good to me and i would back them lol , love the Greenstein bet, never knew we could bet i will study i try to look for some angles could be a gold mine betting on poker, no idea on who is a good better on the poker field if there are some good guys out there with profitable bets on poker let me know want to get some edge lol, anyway good luck and have fun at the tables!

this is really hard to tell no one can actually know , it doesn't matter who you are in a big field tournament , it is anyone game i would not waste a cent on those but still the odds are so high you can turn 1 dollar into 500+$ so easily but if anyone want to take a chance , i would say don't bet big amount good luck mobsters , i would be watching the main event such an awesome event

those huge odds represent only one thing- no one knows who the fcuk will win it. poker is a strange sport, can't imagine say wimbledon having odds of 1000:1 that djokovic will be the eventual winner, or premier league 699:1 for chelsea to be repeat winners.

IMO best thing to do is pick 10-20 player that you think that can make it and bet on them 1$ or something simular... If some of them win you would have a lot of money!!!

I don't imagine that anyone could realistically pick the winner with much confidence but I was thinking in the same way as StheP and picking a few solid players at big odds and if they do go far it would be a foundation for further bets down the line. If you could do a final table or E/W kind of bet it would make the play very interesting.
