I had my classic session today, and evrything was going fine, have nice profit, and than on one of my tables I got AQ, raised 3BB got reraised to 12BB, so I fold... right nex hand I got KQ in CO so I again raised 3BB, and same player 3bet me to 12BB... I start to think, and folded... and next hand I got KT on button, evryone folds to me and again I raise 3BB and same player again 3bet me to 12BB, and I shoved to him and he call me with 22 and won pot O.o that pissed me off... 3 hands in row he 3bet me and call my shove with 22.... so I rebuy to that table and about 10 hands later I got 66 in late position, and ofc he 3 bet me again and I shoved again, and this time he got QQ.... after that I finished session while I was still in plus... I taged that player, and I will see him tomorow Big Smile

Do you always fold or shove when you got 3-bet? Looks a bit like a leak to me. And shoving with 66 and KT? Are you serious? You will need a lot of fold equity here, to make that play work for you and not for him.

i shoved because he 3bet evry single my hand, and yes I am calling 3-bet if I gout hand pair QQ-JJ sometimes TT, AK, I am shoving on 3-bet with AA,KK, and I would call if there is 3-bet and call with any hand pair to see flop... and shoving with 66 and KT is only to that player, because if you read he evry single hand of mine reraised to 12BB, also he called my shove with 22... I would shove on him after 3bet even with JT...

this is cash game buy the way...

Still, IMO he's got a standard 3bet range but you have a tight calling range. As soon as he saw this he played it out for his own advantage. Don't shove these players with JT - you would only do a favour to them.

You just tilted and play hand the way you would normally play. When you have one guy like this on your table its very hard not to go overboard but you have to keep your mind cold and its a lot easier to say than doing it. I just think that if you see this guy again just dont go on is table cause you will tilted again and maybe have same result as today. Smile Smile

If you realy want to play a lot against this player, try to get position on him whenever possible, and play some poker, don't just shove any hand with any facecard or any pair when getting 3-bet by him.

It seems your opponent have had a donk protection in combination with a good timing Big Smile
Sometimes it was really better to left the table, before you play on tilt and lost some stacks. It seems he needs a status level and played every hand Blink

Those 2 hands you folded are pretty strong AQ KQ i would flat call and see a flop Villan is probably raising 12 BB with small medium pocket pairs GL Blink

Exactly vic75, I would flat call to see a flop because I'm confident in my post flop game. I don't mind getting re-raised when I got good non-premium hands, these are the spots where villains will try to bluff a lot. So if you hit big you can just check call check call untill the river then shove.

Anyways, I can't say folding AQ and KQ really is a mistake, but it's not necessarly a good fold either. It's all about your read, you and you only have to make the decision... And it's true that these hands will be dominated pretty often (especially KQ), but you'll also be against bluffs or 88 to JJ pretty often. Some people like to 3bet even their small pairs in cash games.

If you follow that player, i bet that he is playing every hands the same way, just trying to still money.
Lots of them doing that, with any cards they get, and the majority of them if not all,
will call at once your reraise to an all in with whatever crap they have Smile

When faced with a calling station and aggressive player the best advice I have had is to play tighter, really only play premium hands JJ QQ KK AQ and AK then shove him preflop

------------
Also I would not raise with middle and small pairs, just call prelop and if you dont hit on the flop fold!

Analyze this analyze that these people would also put me on tilt raising that much pre flop you assume premium pockets or maybe an empty bottle of Vodka lol GL.
