Last week the final 10 candidates for the 2015 Poker Hall of Fame were revealed on WSOP's website, and it didn't take long before everyone's favourite poker player Daniel Negreanu (inducted last year) posted a blog where he talked about PHOF's main criteria* and other things related to the matter.

Hi hope he is going to be okay, he is discussing the hall of fame when he is already in it , he has earn the right and yeah the hall of fame sometimes needs you to have play longer and of a certain age , and i think there is a good reason for that as sometimes in the short run you might be good and make a lot of money but at the end of the day in the long run loses and cant be classed as legend, so peace out guys have fun at the tables hope we get better and better poker players!

Stated by Daniel Negreanu: There are two players on that list that continue, after 20+ years to play high stakes poker and find success: Jennifer Harman and John Juanda. JJ plays the biggest no limit hold'em games in the world in Macau and abroad, and despite skipping the WSOP 2015 entirely, he just won the biggest EPT event in their history. As for Jennifer, she is easy to find. She is sitting in the same place she has been for decades, in the Bellagio poker room playing the world's biggest mixed games. She remains the only woman in the entire world to be a winner in those games.
Totally agree with you, Daniel. You, Jennifer and JJ are very well-deserved candidates for the Poker Hall of Fame.

An interesting piece from Negreanu and he obviously knows what he is on about.I think John Juanda deserves to get it this year but after reading a few blogs it sounds like they may be going for a woman.

I'd go for a woman too but they are not for sale in our street right now. Maybe next week I just hope Annie Duke will never get in.
