well my brother upgreated on his laptop to windows 10 as soon as 10 came out... I am still on win7, because I dont like win 10... its more simular to android platform, which I like very much, but on the phone, not on pc... maybe in year or 2 I will upgreat to win 10, but untill then I am very satisfied with win 7
Dear Mobbits, once u r all upgraded do not forget to turn off Cortana and all the telemetry which is spying on you. Win10 has many good new features but basically it functions as it was build by the NSA or a Marketing & Polling Firm rather than a software company. Also many off you will have driver issues and such, since there are countless of platforms and hardwares which are not yet in sync with it (touchscreens stop functioning, constant wifi drop offs etc. just to name a few) 'cuz it's so new.

My transition/upgrade to Windows 10 was completed around late July or early August and the new OS has been running flawlessly so far both on a laptop in my room and a desktop in living room.

I was just mentioning that not all that bright and shiny with this OS. Obviously the average consumer will not care about giving away informations about himself casually by his user habits, but there is a good reason why there is an awful lot of backlash going towards Microsoft from the tech community at the moment, and they aren't doing anything about it besides making you harder to downgrade back for one of their previous OS's.

I think the time depends on your computer and internet speed etc but it does sound quite a long time.I have been thinking of upgrading but my windows 7 poker laptop is overdue for laptop heaven so am wary of damaging my hard drive further.I really like my win7 laptop but when you need to buy a new battery, hard drive, etc you may as well just buy a new PC. I see a lot of new computers will still need to be upgraded anyway so at some point we will all be on win10 though it has to be better than win8 which is terrible.

I didn't like Windows 10. My Brand new Dell laptop have OS Windows 10. I purcahsed it for 9k but still it doesn't work well for me. It is really slow. I don't even have heavy softwares in my lappy but it still works really slow and hangs a lot. I guess it is the fault of OS.

When I started reading your post I asked myself what the topic of your post has to do with the forum? But then I saw your answer and it was because you wanted to receive some PP points. Now my question is. What is PP? Is it a poker room or a bookmaker? Or maybe you wanted to say PS but as far as I know in PS they don't give points for starting assignment. I hope you can answer me to take away the doubt.
