Incedible hand from start to finish. I guess one had to be at that table for a while, to make any sense out of the moves during the hand. But of cause, if it works, such a call makes you look like a genius ( if not, more like a donkey)

If you got read on that player that he is bluffing you, or in this case, bluff missed str8, than its not hero call, and its exelent read... but if you dont have any history with that player and you just call, than its very stupid move... anywaycongrats on wining pot

You pretty much just lucked out, mate. Wouldn't recommend plays like that in the future. The way player 7 played that hand he just as well might have been sitting with Ace high only, praying for a check or a token bet post-river.

Thats not a hero call, thats a stupid call. You did get lucky and win the pot. All he needed was an A or K to beat you. When he bet the turn you were still hoping to hit the flush But when the river came and the board made 2 pair, you actually thought you were good. Cash players would love to see you hit their tables.
like i said you got lucky, but, show us how many boom players that this didn't work.

Queen High hmm i wouldn't call this a hero call .. but if you had some information on your opponents who raised early position , i would say it is maybe a justified call but even if he was bluffing , he might had an Ace or a King in his hand i seriously don't know what to say about this anyway you won the hand , that's all it matters .. considering the level it looks like you had a deep run in this tournament

Hi mate hope you are doing okay and having fun at the tables and so on and making a lot of money, hopefully you can continue on this journey and along this journey you will surely encounter a lot of hands and the experience itself will help you do those hero calls and so on, glad you did sometimes when you have played a lot of hands you will sometime know when you will have to hero call and so on, anyway good luck mate have fun!
This river call makes no sense unless you called just to see what other player had. Which is even dumber if you ask me lol. It's like a "please have 67 or 78 call" but yeah it's possible both players had a read on the other and that's why they did these plays.
I see a lot of passive players still. Calling stations that somehow think they're good but seem to do everything wrong and when they win a hand they're as surprised as we are because they have no idea what they're doing But deep in a tourney like that you can expect people to float and try more plays like this. That flop call with 78 off suit is terrible though, could be drawing dead already.
