Pokerfest, a tournament series with 80 events and a $2.5 million guaranteed prize pool, was supposed to start yesterday, but at the end of last week Partypoker announced that they had decided to postpone Pokerfest one month (Sunday, 25th October 2015) due to some performance issues following an update of the poker software. The real reason for that was probably very little interest in sat.tourneys for PokerFest, I personaly hate the graphic there, table looks so ugly...can't imagine to look at it for few hours.

This is not a great outcome for PP when there is so much competition from stars/full tilt.It is probably a good decision for the players but why leave it so near to Pokerfest starting? Is this just a software issue dealing with the large number of players or is this because of their recent and fear of DDOS attacks as someone else has claimed?

if pokerfest does start, then see no problem here, but roots can be deeper, as mascona pointed out- low interest in sats can be a headache for party, and the ongoing instability of the software doesn't add a lot of trust in the site as well. they need to get their act together or it's party over.

The sats on Party are not great but there has been quite a noticeable amount of new players because of the DTD connection and the live events seem to have gone well in the UK. I have not noticed that many problems with the software,it definitely has improved anyway.

I know they have had problems, but I haven't really experienced them. I have to say that I enjoy playing at partypoker and as KLASH states, the DTD connection seems to be working from a UK perspective, so maybe things will improve in the long term.

I'm with you Damosk,I am still a fan of Party,I know they have some issues but I have seen worse at other sites.I definitely like the DTD connection and I just wish I had the time to play more as there are definitely seats at the big DTD tournies which can be won if you take advantage of the sats.
