Boston-Tampa Bay Light. 00:30 2,40 3,80 2,40
Lightning team scope: Defenseman Victor Hedman played one shift after the midway point of the third period of a 4-0 win against the New Jersey Devils on Friday, but general manager Steve Yzerman told the Tampa Tribune Hedman is expected to be fine. Goalie Ben Bishop made 21 saves as Tampa Bay won its fifth straight. Stamkos has a goal in all five games. The Lightning won't play again until after the 2016 NHL Trade Deadline passes at 3 p.m. ET on Monday; Stamkos doesn't see the need to for any transactions. "We're comfortable with this group," he told the Tampa Bay Times on Friday. "We pretty much went to the (2015 Stanley Cup) Final with the same group. It's not about how you're playing at the midway point of the season. It's how you build up to the end of the year and play hard down the stretch. And we're certainly on our way to doing that."
Bruins team scope: Boston was off Saturday and returns to TD Garden to begin a four-game homestand after defeating the Carolina Hurricanes 3-1 on Friday. The Bruins have scored 20 goals over their past four games. Forward Matt Beleskey has five goals in that span after scoring eight times in his first 56 games with Boston. "It's always nice when they start coming like that," Beleskey said Friday. "You just keep working hard and doing the same things and hopefully it's going to pay off. Right now it is." Coach Claude Julien credited Beleskey for keeping his work ethic consistent. "Pucks are starting to go in for him. He was working hard, he was finishing his checks, playing gritty. We're not disappointed in his game. It seems like he's starting to get rewarded now." Forward Brad Marchand has four goals in as many games and leads the Bruins with a career-high 32 this season.

Toronto-Tampa Bay Light. 01:30 3,00 3,80 2,00
Lightning team scope: Tampa Bay will try to tie a season-high with its seventh straight win; the Lightning have allowed six goals in the past five games. Stamkos has a goal in six straight games after scoring on a penalty shot in a 4-1 win against the Boston Bruins on Sunday. "All four lines are contributing and when that's happening, usually good things will happen for our team, and it's been fun to watch," coach Jon Cooper told the Lightning website after the game. Center Tyler Johnson left the game Sunday after taking a puck to the face but likely will play. "Hopefully he is going to be okay. He was getting stitched up when we came off the ice," Cooper said. The Lightning are two points behind the Florida Panthers for first place in the Atlantic Division and each team has played 62 games.
Maple Leafs team scope: Garrett Sparks, who hasn't played since Dec. 17, could start for Toronto after Jonathan Bernier started in a 4-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday. The Maple Leafs acquired goalie Alex Stalock Saturday in a trade that sent goalie James Reimer to the San Jose Sharks, but general manager Lou Lamoriello said the move was done to give one of the Maple Leafs goalies in the American Hockey League a chance in the NHL. Stalock may be assigned to the Toronto Marlies. "Our coaching staff and management has to find out how [Sparks and Antoine Bibeau] will play [in the NHL]," Lamoriello said. "There is quite a difference [between the AHL and NHL]. You find out a little more. The shooters are at a different level. We have to find that out." The Maple Leafs have lost five of their past six games (1-4-1) and have two wins in 10 games (2-7-1).

Nashvil-Dallas Stars 02:00 2,20 3,80 2,60
Stars team scope: Dallas has lost three in a row after a 3-2 overtime loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Monday. Vernon Fiddler ended a 12-game goal drought when he scored with 1:31 remaining to tie it 2-2 and help the Stars earn their first point in three games. "We're down in the game with two minutes left, so from that perspective, it's a good point," defenseman Alex Goligoski said. "You'd like to get the two, but it's kind of big picture too. We want to keep playing consistent hockey whether we're up a goal, down a goal, grinding teams down. The last couple games, we've been a lot better at that." Goalie Kari Lehtonen likely will start after Antti Niemi made 30 saves against Detroit. The Stars acquired defenseman Kris Russell from the Calgary Flames on Monday before the 2016 NHL Trade Deadline. Center Sceviour has three goals and an assist in the past four games.
Predators team scope: Defenseman Shea Weber, who has missed the past three games because of a lower-body injury, might return to the lineup after practicing Monday. "I feel good," Weber told the Predators website. "It's hard; you don't like to sit out. You feel like you're letting your teammates down, so it's not easy. It's not easy to have something you have to deal with, but that's the way it goes sometimes. It's a hard game and it's hard on your body, and it'll be good to get back." Nashville has won four games in a row. Forward Filip Forsberg has six goals and an assist in his past three games; he had a hat trick last Tuesday in a 3-2 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs and again Saturday in a 5-0 victory against the St. Louis Blues.

Detroit-Chicago Blackhaw. 02:00 2,50 3,80 2,30
Blackhawks team scope: Dale Weise's hockey equipment arrived before practice Tuesday, but the forward Chicago recently acquired from the Montreal Canadiens did not. Weise is waiting for his U.S. work visa and cannot join the Blackhawks until it's approved. The Blackhawks are hoping the process is expedited and Weise makes his debut in Detroit or at the Boston Bruins on Thursday. Defenseman Christian Ehrhoff, acquired in a trade with the Los Angeles Kings on Feb. 26, will play his first game for the Blackhawks. He skated at left point in drills during practice, will start play on the third pairing and might get some power-play time. "He has that shoot-first mentality, which we like," coach Joel Quenneville said. "He's been in that position throughout his career and we'll give him an opportunity here going into [the] game." Goalie Corey Crawford will make his fourth straight start. Injured right wing Marian Hossa (lower body) began skating on his own Monday but will not make the trip.
Red Wings team scope: Detroit, which had off Tuesday, has won three straight games and has points in the past five. Goalie Petr Mrazek could start. Mrazek was held out of the Red Wings' 3-2 overtime win at the Dallas Stars on Monday because of a groin injury, but coach Jeff Blashill was optimistic after the game about his availability against Chicago. If Mrazek doesn't play, Howard will make his second straight start and fourth in Detroit's past seven games. The win against Dallas was Howard's first since Dec. 3 and ended a winless stretch of 11 straight appearances (0-5-4). He has allowed three goals in his past three appearances. "I felt like it was coming for a while," Howard told the Red Wings website. "Just some bounces didn't go my way. You stick with it. You had to figure sooner or later some of the puck luck was going to change a little bit."
