Ducks team scope: Anaheim traveled to Nashville on Monday without practicing. Boudreau declined to talk about the goaltending situation. Goaltender John Gibson has started both games of the series. "We know we're down 2-0 going into a very chaotic barn," Boudreau told the Ducks website. "If we don't have a sense of urgency now, we never will." Boudreau said Anaheim's most dangerous players are spending too much time having to defend Nashville, particularly on the penalty kill. "If we're using them all the time to kill penalties, then there's no room for offense," Boudreau said. "When you've got [Ducks forwards Ryan Kesler, Jakob Silfverberg and Getzlaf] as part of your main penalty killers, those are also our main offensive guys. They're on the ice for the wrong reasons. They're having just to defend."
Predators team scope: The Predators traveled back to Nashville on Monday and did not practice. They are expected to go with the same lineup they used in the first two games of the series. The Predators are putting an emphasis on staying disciplined, particularly after the whistle. "There seems to be a lot of that going on after the whistle," Predators forward Colin Wilson said. "A lot of characters on both teams so yeah, going to have to stay disciplined. I've heard their coach. I'm sure that's what they're wanting to do too." Wilson has one goal and one assist in the first two games of the series.

Stars team scope: Captain Jamie Benn did not skate with the team Tuesday but Ruff said he was giving the forward a maintenance day. Defenseman Kris Russell, who missed Game 3 because of illness, participated in practice but is questionable. Goaltender Kari Lehtonen allowed more than three goals in a start for the first time in more than a month on Monday. Ruff could go back to playoff-tested Antti Niemi for Game 4 but didn't reveal his thinking. " don't want to overreact to a game that I feel, we make some adjustments, we talked about the mentality of a playoff series, we talked about the mentality of a team that was backed into a corner down 2-0," Ruff said. "Now I feel like, I really feel like we're in a playoff series now. Now we're in a playoff series because they've come to play. They had their tough game in Game 1, they got better in Game 2, and had a big push there for two periods in Game 3. Now we got a series."
Wild team scope: Forward Zach Parise (back) skated before an optional practice Tuesday but appears no closer to returning; he has missed four games. Forward Thomas Vanek (upper body), who has not played since April 1, practiced but is unlikely to return. Torchetti said Vanek would need to take part in contact drills before being considered to play. Goaltender Devan Dubnyk has started the past 17 games for Minnesota and ended his six-game losing streak in Game 3. Minnesota is not expected to change much with its top-six forward group but could reshuffle the fourth line. Rookie forwards Kurtis Gabriel and Zac Dalpe played in Game 3 but Torchetti could decide to go back to veterans Ryan Carter and Jarret Stoll. A decision is likely to come during the morning skate Wednesday.
