Nickname change  0
Just received this email from pokermira.

Dear player

Have you been playing at Poker MIRA for a long time? And have players known your nickname? Now you can put off opponents’ guard! For our active players we offer the opportunity to change the nickname once a month. It needs turning over at least 7,000 hands at the cash tables during a calendar month. We are sure that this promotion is likely to appeal both experienced regulars who aren’t wanted to play with by weaker players, and inexperienced players who don’t want be recognized by regulars.
Sincerely,
Poker MIRA Team.

Find it really interesting, except for the fact I'm not playing there lately.

What are your thought on this?

Well if huds are allowed on there, its not gonna make any impact what so ever, players will still have info on u, so changing user name wont make any difference, unless u get clean stats with that change, otherwise i dont see the point

Change your name to Batman, then every player gonna fear you - both experienced and inexperienced as well - since you own the night.

yeah could be a good way to have people not having your nickname in their poker software and what not you wont be present in their poker software if you do change nick, if could change a lot those will be basically useless unless it is used for some data relating to yourself , anyway good luck mate hope you do well and make a lot of money and most importantly have fun at the tables cheers have fun and good luck mate peace out!

I find this one good. In general. along with the stop of using tracking software in some of the sites.
It will help a lot all the new players starting the games, being tagged and chased for an easy score Smile
With the constant change also, it wont be even possible to keep a track for yourself, by taking notes.

U know that tracking softwares could help inexperienced players tremendeously as well so i do not know why the constant resisitance against it here.

i think that the best strategy in this scenario would be NOT to change your nickname, since every dude and his balls are gonna think that you will change your nickname- you will catch them offguard. everyone will think that it's some new magatt (or buffone) not the one that they previously played against.
