I took the most common piece of advice, and went to the Brantford casino to play a $150 bounty ($25) tourney. I finished 8th of 34. I was 2nd stack at start of final, but finished fast. Part bad beat (same guy, 3 times during tourney, fought my way back up...to feed him again!), part bad play. I am a fan of the check-raise, and didn`t use it much. Overall, I was weaker than online, too safe early and too long in discerning the over-betters and over-callers. I observed a tell, where a chap scratched his cards when he had a folding hand. My voice actually broke (squeaked!), during a big bluff, lol, but opponent didn`t catch it, lol! All in all, I learned a bit, and will drill in those lessons, and try again soon (4 weeks to go)!
Lol! I just looked at my posts, 64, and thought, `that`s OK. Then I looked at all yours! Doh!
