Brit teenager in court for DDOS attack on poker site  +1
I came across this story this week which is quite interesting,I am not sure which site this was at but I know Party poker were hit hard by this type of attack a while ago.
I have put a link in but because of his age the UK papers aren't featuring the story and the best link was from another poker forum which I cannot use at BRM so I have had to use an Italian story.
It amazes me that teenagers, using a laptop in their bedroom, manage to hack or attack multi million pound companies.

Fascinating! It is amazing how we tend to think a hack or ddos attack takes more than just one kid with a laptop! What it takes is a little know how and a lot of determination..... And a failure by an organisation to adequately protect our information and their systems.

it only takes a laptop and teenager who are interested into hacking with some knowledge to do the damage to any company
i don't know why you are surprised
if you fellow the hacking news , many guys like him have stolen millions of dollars
you watch too many T.V , it is not like Mr.Robot
90% of hackers are kids living in their family house

In the UK we recently had a 15/16 year old hacking talk talk which is one of the biggest phone/internet providers. It surprises me because these companies should be hiring the best IT guys to protect the customers yet a schoolkid manages to hack them.God help us if a country or crime organisation decides to attack us. Smile
