Here are the results of the Sunday BRM freeroll on Party Poker. Congratulations to all winners specially to TheMachine who managed to win the tournament. WE also had a few forum reg. that made ITM and final table. I managed to make FT and finished 7th. in a very unlucky hand but this is poker and i will take it.
Yup, I was trying not to be too agressive against the forum regs. I actually played tight most of the tournament.
You were indeed very unlucky to lose, you had JJ against AJ, 99 and 1010 all in pre flop. 1010 hit top set then AJ hit the wheel straight so the worst hand won.
I had to bust Damosk in 4th place because he shoved 3 and a half big blinds so I called him with a suited connector and got a straight. I was also pretty lucky in the heads up, won everytime my tournament life was on the line.

There was a funny conversation going on between the machine and some abusive player that got very lucky (chip leader) early on. I guess you showed him...

The guy you are talking about did not made ITM went out 17th.

That sounds like a great game for a lot of the forum regs.A shame Demo just missed out but another great performance from the machine who is really starting to own this tournie! Also good results for Pinotte and Damosk and callie and Marquis just missed the money as well.
I don't know why the thumbs down to be honest, I guess some people are more emotional than others.
Early in the tournament I kept getting AJ, AQ and AK and couldn't hit one flop. Kept folding on 10 high boards It all changed when I got sent to another table, I had 2.6k and woke up with JJ and tripled up to 7.9k. Never was really short stacked after that, except when the HU started I only had 10 blinds.

What a game! I really enjoyed last nights tourney at PartyPoker. I was pretty pleased with my 4th place, having lead early on, but then going card dead during the second hour but managed to hang on in there...at one stage I dropped to about 15th. I was gutted when demo went out in 15th as he had fought so well to stay with the money but fell unlucky...... PINOTTE did really well, getting into the top few places at one stage but then being really unlucky with a 3 way all in and losing out to worse staring hands. Great game Machine, though I was a bit peeved when your straight held out to knock me out. Well done everyone and let's keep working at getting a regular FT.
