While there are people who find that they have to shout to the whole world that they won in their gambling adventures by taking a selfie and announcing it to their social media friends, this woman unfortunately got robbed of her $825 winnings after she posted a selfie on her Facebook page.

Something like that could never happen to a propper poker player. They used to moan about the bad beats, the donks, the cold decks, so no one could ever figure out, that they actually did win some money.

looooooooooooooooooooooool. ho ho ho. why don't we see a selfie of her face when she was told that her winnings have been already claimed... high five for the quick thinking fella who overturned house edge and turned in a profit despite having $0 invested. thats the way to gamble.

I believe and know by personal experience that there are some guys who always like to share their winnings with their online "friends", not realizing the risks they are submitting themselves just for doing that. Sometimes, even just by saying that you are a good player who makes regular winnings can be dangerous, specially if you do that on social media with your real data (name, address...). So, just don't! Instead, do it here, everyone only knows your nick and the country you live in, it will be difficult to track you!

A good story and a very costly mistake for this woman. I really have little sympathy for guys who publish photos of every little thing they do on facebook for the world to see,I hope other people learn from this.
Precisely Fakiry I couldn't have put it better myself. I've netted hundreds even thousands on slots and poker over the past few years.
I don't go bragging on my personal FB I have a leisure FB just for casino and poker friends/offers etc that doesn't have my own face pic, personal details etc on it ! If you wanna brag do that and don't post pictures of winning coupons lol.
Posted by Theapple: dam i really should add more people on facebook, maybe someone who wins euromillions jackpot decides to do the same thing with their ticket ! ><
Those aren't being payed out by these ways so... U could still hope though.

Oh when oh when will people learn..... The internet is a vastly different place to reality..... There are no people in the Internet therefore it is safe. No one there means no on can harm you.
Come on people out there get a life. The Internet is potentially far worse than life, and this is a really good example of people saying or showing stuff to people that they really shouldnt and then wishing they hadn't!
