This kind of stuff happens at all sites, and all freerolls. You always get those idiot's that go all in everyhand. I've also seen it happen on small buyin tourney's that have rebuy's. It's just something you will have to get used too. I always just let them have their fun. Then when i hit a big hand i call them. usually these idiots get lucky for a while, then they loose and get booted.

Probably you havent played enough games so far This is the most common story with these freerolls. So you better get used to it You will need to make adjustments to your game when you meet such players.
Maybe you could try to do the opposit: be the one who shoves every hand, build a stack then start playing from there. It's no secret for anyone, freerolls are bingo, so yeah being super tight can work if the cards are with you, but if you have all of your table covered then you don't need to worry about the cards as much... It's all about being able to build a stack early

Agodrohan...... This is the world of the freeroll...... Players have no investment in the game so they have nothing to lose and play on the basis that if they go all in, other weaker players will fold, or at least will call them and then it's a coin flip to see who wins and if you or they are lucky then so be it.

TheMachineQC, even if you built a stack early, all it needs is a couple of bad calls to ruing your game, if you keep playing like this. Being able to reach final table with this method must be rare, for the same player, doing it over and over again.

eh its freerolls with 10k players we are talking about here. you should consider yourself lucky if you happen to get a table with just one player going all in every hand (:

Try the BRM freerolls on FT, couple of donks go allin first couple of hands, but then they get thrown out very fast, and we keep on playing poker the way its ment to be played, try them for a while, and let us know what u think of them, but then u have ridiculous beats like AA again AhJs and he flops three hearts with one on the river and beats me with a flush, now go figure the odds

Good luck
Agree. if lose, better lose early rather than play tight for one hour or more than lose to crap card. If you want enjoy play poker, better play at buy in freezout tourney ( no buy in or add on ). They play more tight, but sometime part of them play gambling too.
Exactly, Serpang. The buy-in of a freeroll is basically your presence, and the time you invest playing it. (if you see it that way and if there's no leaderboard obviously)
So I tend to try to build a stack very early in this kind of freerolls, especially the ones with thousands of players. If you lose early you haven't lost anything, and that's the main reason why being overtight can work in freerolls. People don't care, so they'll give you chips if your hands hold.
Don't know much about that open school thing though.
