Phil Hellmuth makes the dealer cry (big man!)  0
Phil Hellmuth down to 50,000 and it looks as though it might be approaching his bedtime. He again demanded that Steve Frezer instruct the dealers in how to do their job according to, "Correct procedure," and then wandered across to the other table to moan with Howard Lederer. "Might not make it 19 minutes, bud" (time left to play)

Then Hellmuth was threatened with penalty

Continuing the late-night disastrous run, Phil Hellmuth is down to just 25,000 and has made the dealer cry. The TD has come over and attempted to smooth things over, explaining that the dealer has been working for 14 hours and that it isn't her fault, but the dealer is quite upset and Hellmuth is being threatened with a penalty for attacking the dealer if he doesn't cool off.

The dealer got a soothing massage from the TD!! (probably said dont worry hes always a wanker when losing)

As much as i respect Hellmuth's play and his experience he is always a twat at the table's. Making that poor dealer cry is too far Sad
14 hours of dealing cards is enough for anyone. I cant handle 1 hour!

Hellmuth just cant handle getting beat and in my eyes that makes a bad poker player. You have to deal with the bad beats. He thinks he can get away with it but he cant. Everyone thinks he's an arse anyway so it's cool.
Mon' the dealers Worship

What did the dealer do wrong?

Ya, sounds like Phil Hellmuth but he's usually fighting with the other players. Have you heard the story of Phil Hellmuth and Sam Grizzle getting in a fist fight lol.

if ur going to cry, it better be because he hit u.
Phil didn't even touch the dealer and there is no reason to start crying. it's just dumb and phil does that all the time so its just a first.

Imagine your a dealer and you've been workin for 14 hours dealing all the cards and just watching people talking about cards, it must be very stressful and pretty hot in there too.
Now you have Phil mouthing off to you and its just too much. It wasnt like a big strong man dealing the cards. It was a woman. Im not sexist but girls do cry alot more than guys.

Phil is a loser, a big winning loser. I swear to god i could beat him heads up and i would love that

Phil is a very weird poker man.... behavior is not his best part of the game. But it is very fun to watch the other players get him to steam.... and that is not very hard...

But the dealer should know what is to be expected when Phil is at the table and not doing well.....

everything Phil Hellmuth does is just 1 big level ....
he will tell you how bad you play, warn you not to play K10 and Q10 and then start raising you with any 2 cards. Then if you play back he berates you again.....

Hes just a big idiot. Steaming and tilting like a NL10 noobie... plays extremely bad when he's going at it. But when he plays good - he plays good Smile

I think those dealers earn a little bit more respect for what they do. some players seem to forget that they also have to be concetrated for hours at a time, calculating the pot watching the bets, wouldn't like to be in theire place.

Working for 14 hours in that type of dealing is serious cash, because shes dealing on tv and for a big casino she probably made couple thousands that night with tips from players and stuff like that

Phil Hellmuth

"The internet reported that I made a dealer cry! Well, I don't think so, but it is possible. I told the dealer, "I'm not mad at you, but you need to release the deck before you cut the cards, every time!" [Releasing the deck prevents stacking the deck.] I told her to do it again and again, and for the record I tell every dealer the same thing. But I was aggravated, agitated, frustrated, emotional, and negative, and maybe she did take it personally. I lost almost $100,000 in chips in the last hour, and then on my final hand-with one minute left on the clock for Day two--for the first time in two days I was all in with A-K in Hold'em vs 3-3, and the cards came off like this K-Q-J-6-3! For sure I was out of line with the floor people, and probably the dealer, and I need to apologize, and I pledge to bring them all bottles of Dom Perignon tonight when I come in to play the Pot Limit Omaha tournament."

"Are you crying? There is no crying in poker" Quote Tom Hanks from the movie a league of their own(Slightly modified).
Losing with AK against pocket 3s can put the best player on tilt. But a serious poker player shouldnt lose his face like that.
I remember when he rushed out of a tourney saying
"I lost to a person who cant even spell Poker"
Maybe some anger managment would be in order

He knows he made the dealer cry, not sure why he says he didnt, or its possable!, witness reported the event, was being reported live, she did not cry at the table but basically as soon as it all ended.
Ohh well, hehe.

I kinda like Phil Helmut... His a winner, he hates to lose! Some people may not like it, but nice people only get "that far", while the bad-ass types like Phil Helmut go "All the way", because they got all the right things that make a winner. Sure there are players that are nice and winners, but in poker nobody rewards a nice guy, everyone sitting at the table wants something from the others. Even nice guys are arses, im an ass... i can say nice things to others like: "Tough luck", "Auch" etc... But what i really mean is: "HAHA", "I WON BABY!"
