Did you say poker tourney or cash game ? early phase ? or your opp on tilt ? freeroll or micro buy in ? will so many question ? but your story is classic , all of us always got it in our bad day. Do you always loose like that at every tourney ? I don't think so ! just remember 17% ITM give you some profit. Don't give up. Try and try again ( like me ).

I would no go as far as poker is dead but i agree that the game changed in the last few years and IMO it was not for the better.
Today there are many more peoples that are playing poker like if it was a game of luck only. I don't play much of ring game but when you see a table of six with all of them limps there is a real question.
MTT are almost the same you see many peoples entering a hand at any price with any two suited cards or an ace rag go all in and the problem is that a lot of time they will kick you out with your very good hand.
I still like playing the game but i am playing only freerolls or small cost MTT and a bit of ring game.

Hi, everybody.
I agree to 201%. Poker became similar to a casino. The player goes with any hand, and there as will carry. I won - I won, and if no, then no. Anybody doesn't think of consequences at all.

It does make it interesting and I wonder whether this is a recent phenomenon or one that has been with us for some time and it has only just been noticed by a number of people. It is very frustrating, but the etiquette of poker is simply that. The bottom line is play how you feel you should to gain maximum advantage.

I feel lately, that there is no chance to play 74 off without some UK prick making post about it later. If i constatntly get mocked about that, i might start to play premium hands only, then what are you going to do, how are you going to win? So watch out what you wish for, you may get it.

Oh that again. One can expect to lose 1/3 of hands with AK vs complete junk. So in the long run, one will come out the winner, but swings can be brutal. Even AA will lose against 74o a small percentage of the time. Shall we stop playing AA?

All of your comment in this threat is really interesting for me, cause that happen to me. I just curious is random system really fair ? Maybe BRM would help us, make interview ( by email ) with some player who win several time leaderboard ( I forgot his name ) . Is random system fair and how they handle crap's card all iner ? so we can improve our skill. look like our skill stag with this problem for years already.

Hello mobsters
Well I don´t think poker is dead ( well maybe in Portugal for now because of the licenses ,yeah still waiting) because that kind of players and those kind of bingo players where always there when we loose they are the scum of the earth but several times they double us up
For me poker is mostly luck especially online last night I was playing the 2K on 888Poker good stack got KK lost to JJ and out I notice a lower set hits a lot hard to bluff on the river when 3 players are Allin pre flop with complete junk.

I havent been playing often lately, Just a freeroll once in a while, so i cant say that i have noticed any changes. How much a freeroll can change On the other hand it may be different in cash games but i cant say. Now freerolls were always a bit of a lotto play.

Hi, everybody. Now and freeroll became absolutely others. If earlier it was 100-200 people, now it is the megabig companies on some thousands of players. And as a result you will win not money and the ticket for the following tournament. Good luck all at tables and in life.

HI callie28. many players playing all in because no all in no win. with little hands few chips is very hard or impossible to catch the final table in tourneys with few K players.
Well, the quality of a poker game is only equal to the quality of the players playing it... Even players who understand how to play a real profitable small ball MTT tight agressive style can get annoyed by a very loose aggro player overbetting every hand.
But at the same time, tight players want agressive players to give them chips, and vice versa. About 80% of texas hold'em hands are polarized hands, that's why the first to levarage his stack usually wins the hand.

no all in no win ???? depend on what kind of tourney . Have you ever seen player go so much all in with crap card on WSOP early phase ? there are around 8K player . I ever play at $109 buy in tourney. Yes just a little player did that ( maybe they rich ) . Basic theory is go all in with best hand in early phase. Maybe they are develop it. lol. :

Hi, everybody.
Yes. It is classical option of development of a poker tournament. It is impossible to distract on inadequate players. Their game will punish and they the tournament is left sooner or later.
