Lance Armstrong to chip in on Poker Players’ LA to Las Vegas Cycling Bet worth $1.2M

Dan Bilzerian, the self-proclaimed Instagram King who has more than a few millions in the bank and plays poker part-time, hit the headlines once again a week right after a wild prop bet between him and fellow poker enthusiast, Bill Perkins, a hedge fund manager and venture capitalist. "According to Dan's Twitter feed, he aims to live the playboy lifestyle to the max." well if that's correct then that $100 million trust fund his dad has set up for him might evaporate quite quickly. on the other hand dudes like him create lots of buzz for other mere mortals/mobbits like us to soak up.

Even IF he is allowed to ride on the Interstate it would be a daring and implausible venture.

Oh, I really miss this scenery...

A hundred mill trust fund should be enough to live comfortably the rest of your life just by sucking off the interest's tits for nickel and dime. Goddamn these people anyway. BTW he can't do it IMO.

Absolutely correct !! But some people like challenge to find what they don't have yet. Sometimes even put them in dangerous. Hiking to mount Everest for example. The most important point is what is a life ?

I am from a bicycle country and this is very "easy", so let's calculate this,

278 miles =
447.4 kilometers

447.4 / 48 (hours) = 9.3 km per hour on average

but you need to sleep and brakes, so let's take around every hour of bike riding a 15 minute break

1 hour ride - 15m break (1:15)
1 hour ride - 15m break (2:30)
1 hour ride - 15m break (3:45)
1 hour ride - 15m break (5:00)
1 hour ride - 15m break (6:15)
1 hour ride - 15m break (7:30)
1 hour ride - 15m break (8:45)
1 hour ride - 15m break (10:00)
1 hour ride - 15m break (11:15)
1 hour ride - 15m break (12:30)
1 hour ride - 15m break (13:45)

12+ hours of sleeping eating and resting

conclusion day1:

11 hours of bike riding (speed: 20kmph (12mph)
traveled: 11h x 20km = 220km (136.7 miles)

repeat second day with a bit of extra riding = profit

he should invest in a good seat though Cool
