I play +/- 3 hours a week so that s why the goal is not that big.
Man playing +/- 3 hours a week is very, very low. That's probably only one day a week . Where is the practice , learning...... I Will be honest with you. You will probably lose all your money. Therefore I think it's better to play tournaments 1-5$ buy in. Maybe you will hit something .
So you want to win 300 EUR playing 3 hours a week for 52 weeks on NL10. That is 3000 big blinds in 156 hours of play, that is 19.2 big blinds per hour.
Say you play 100 hands/hour per table => You'd need to average 19.2 BB/100 if you play only 1 table, so that's not an option (that would be a very high win rate).
You'd need to play 6 tables at a 3.2 BB/100 winrate to achieve this. I hope you are good at multi tabling... I don't think it is an easy goal to achieve at all! Good luck!

Posted by thefly131: was playing on 4 tables and after +/- 30 min was down 19 euros. could climb back a little and after 2 hours of poker left the tables with 191 euro
Out of the two hundred you started with? It's just not clear that you had 191 euro profit or 9 euro loss. Good luck though. This thread should be a blog instead.
could climb a little means I had 191 at the end, if I would have won 191 euro s it would not be a little

I play poker for +/- 10 years so I think I know the poker basics. even if I only make it till 300 euro s at the end of the year it would be Ok fo me. The target is 500 but that still means any profit is OK.
For the calculators ... 300 euro profit in 50 weeks is 6 euro a week, which is 2 euro a hour so on 4 tables it is 0.5 euro/hour per table.

just played for +/- 1 hour and made little profit
I think ending a session with profit is always good
I agree, if you discipline with that principle and not play too much ( just in good mood or lucky moment play longer ). Stop play when make some profit, even small. I am sure you will make your goal ! Good luck .

It is always good ending with profit, no matter how much that is. Even 1 cent The purpose is to climb up the ladder with less up and downs. It helps in your game too, mentally and psychologically. Better luck in your next sessions.

I dont know how you can do this, but so far i have never played a single poker game to relax It is quite the opposite. And if there is a bad beat in the way, then that word is out of my dictionary
Just follow the play style you are feeling comfortable.
