Playing a small sit & go just now and ended up flopping a straight 5 7 clubs flopped 4 6 8 with two being clubs. ends up guy has Aces and has no way of knowing he's crushed so badly just after flop but when the river hits just all the sweeter. Really worked out perfectly and won me the money as well.
------------ What are the odds of hitting another straight flush within a couple of hours ? Well i just got my second one of the night and led to me winning another Sit & go.
Was really hoping the other guy was holding the King or Ace of spades. Still got some chips and it led to my winning so I guess i got the most out of it.

This is very lucky two straight flush in the same day. Now i have a question for you i think that in the first one the guy with aces played them very bad. What would you have done if he had made a very big raise like at least 5 or 6 BB or even all-in.
In the second one you got the max you could if the guy had the ace then you would had all is chips i don't think he would have go with a K.
However very nice hand for you and wish you many more.

Hey pinotte. good question but pretty simple. Cause we were heads up i would've called something a bit bigger if he had raised but not too much. He left himself wide open for that type of hand I got the nuts. Played itself pretty easily but I think when I got aggressive he should've shut it down.
lol that's pretty lucky. Like flopping the nuts wasn't enough your hand had to improve to the ultimate nuts That s**t usually happens in PLO
I would've played it very similarly. When he leads out c-bet and then calls your raise on the flop, you know you got the fish hooked. All that's left to do is put the chips in the middle.

@pinotte I would call for sure if he raised 5,6BB or even all in... look at this way you are open ended, thats like 8 outs + you have FD which is 9 more outs, so in total you have 17 outs, now there is metod of 4 and 2, and by it you multiply your 17 outs if you are on flop by 4 and you got percentage of your win roughly... so you are favorite in this situation 68% which is a lot, I would take that chance any single time

@ StheP I think you may have watched it wrong. I actually flopped the nuts I hit a straight not open ended. It was just icing on the cake when the I hit the straight flush. I would have called also had it been open ended with the flush draw 100% of the time.

@sthep first if you look at the boomplayer hand look it shows the time has ET there is now four hrs. difference Quebec with GMT so the post was done at 3:06ET.
Second i did not mentioned but for sure i was talking about pre flop raise from the A A also when you calculate your outs don't forget that in your straight open ended there is 8 outs however in your FD don't forger that you have two of you cards that are included in your 8 outs so your FD is now 7 outs for a total of 15 and not 17.

@pinotte demo said 7AM in the morning... and I told him it wasnt 7, I didnt mention 3AM...
and for second, you didnt said what action, on flop or pre... so i assumed you were talking about flop action, because preflop action is abvious... preaty standard play... oponent raised he called, I would do the same in both situation, even if I had aces or 78s... so if you are saiying he should open with aces with big raise, than its fold for sure, because 78s preflop isnt good enough to call pre flop all in or huge raise...but open your hand with aces with big raise/shove is preaty dum thing to do in this spot... and you were right about outs... but still 15 outs on flop will give you 60% roughly, but that isnt the case since he had nuts on flop
