Your comments are far from helpful on a forum where people are trying to learn.

You're telling people to fold aces preflop vs 3 opponents... and that maths is irrelevant and pointless.

You are wrong.

All the math i use when playin poker, is x4 x2 rule, and if i like my chances after the turn ill call, no matter the pot, coz u need to hit the card your chasing in order to take down the pot, if u base your call on EV how much i have to call in order to win this or that, lets say 3to1 4to1 or simply 100 to call to possibly win 1000, of course u gonna call, but whats your % to hit the card u need to win the pot??? thats more important, at least for me, its easy to get pot committed, if some1 else controls the pot, long story short, i base my decisions on the tables, on that rule, intuition or gut feeling, and my previous history with that player, and i think its enough, dont need the extra math, at least so far Big Smile

I guess it depends on the actual format of the games in question. Fixed limit is more math orientated, than no limit or pot limit. In the last to forms psychology is more important, cause bluffs play a bigger role.

i never told anybody what he has to do or not do. that one is you ! remember > selfreflection ! again your trying...
i was asking for opinions, not giving advices. i never do that, no matter if its poker or something else, except im asked. compared to you...
my explanation why I (!) wouldnt do that, isnt that bad. if you play for 2cents you have hundreds of all-ins with 7-8 players and a good value, if you play higher stakes it will only happen a couple times in your life. and sorry sir, thats no math or "in the long run....." but a coinflip in the "short" run.

to your prevous post...was too late to answer.
i do not really care if im getting AA dealt, if i loose with or to AA, or how many percentage i win with AA... this hand sucks, and the win % is also uninteressting to me (!). and this time your right, i really have no clue why your giving me advices or telling me to check how often i won/lost with aces.
why does it suck? not because its rigged, not because im to stupid to play that hand, but: you dont earn money with it.
either its folded around to you on BB, folded upon raise and you only collect a few blinds, or generaly arent big pots, except you have your birthday and someone puts you all-in.
i rather like to crack AA with marginal hands (attention, i dont mean preflop, also not to chase. i know you have the habit to hang something around my neck) than to have AA as holecards.
thats where the money is. < (to me)!.

as you said: "you have to see it as a win, even if you only collect blinds". why should i care about my win percentage with aces? and what kind of sense would it make, if i win 90% with aces, but only won $10 due to small pots or collecting blinds ? while i lost the other 10% preflop all-in with aces with an amount of $250? great math....*thumbs up*
so your suggestion to "see it as a win", even if you collect only blinds, makes me laugh. thats great math for % but bad math if you check your $.

you can be a winning player, who wins 90% of his played hands but has only a income of $2.50 or you can be someone who doesnt win many hands/only wins 15% of his hands, but if he wins, he win big time, with a monthly income of $1000.
the win percentage is not interessting at all, seriously. $ counts. the amount of big pots you win/lose is interessting. not how often you win with aces...
this may be fun if you have nothing else to do and alot of time to analyse your handhistory. a short check on your $ should be enough.
all this math math math and how many hands you won....jesus. in this case overrated and needless. my prevous post with the 10 fingers was meant as a joke, but you can take it serious aswell. you do not need superior math knowledge to be able to play poker.

your intention to teach others Thumbs Up but here are also alot who just come to collect some mobpoints, have fun, making jokes and do not take slightly anything serious.
as far as i know its no forum for underage peeps?! even if i was the devil and plan to brainwash this guys here with my silly comments, im sure they can make up their own mind themself.

Seems deep in your heart you didn't believe math involve in poker, you just want many people support you! that's my opinion !
you said i was asking for opinions , so why you argue with them ? just analyze by yourself
what they said.
Smile

P.S : my conclusion : majority said math help us to win in poker game.

of course there is math involved. just not that much, that you need to have a doctorate in math. im just sayin: in poker is much much more involved than math.

whats wrong to argue ? nothing wrong to exchange your opinion. but yout85 is always trying to "force" his opinion upon others, with the statement: "you have no clue..." , if you dont share his opinion - thats a huge different.
there´s always a 2nd or 3rd way to play, or if its in real life, to solve your problems. not only one way.

anyways, i was referring to AA preflop. > that i was asking for opinions, and not saying "this is a must" or thats the way to play this hand. while he was saying im telling people how to play their hands.

Yout knows the game and wins at the game..theres no debating that. Anyone whos been around this forum has seen his challenges...seen him go from 0-100$ in a day challenges and he ussually succeeds. Id give yout my own bankrolls instead of playing it myself and would not doubt a decent roi. Ive talked to yout about staking in the past also recently and imo its probably one of the best investments i could make at this time. If you think he doesnt know what hes talking about then thats ok but his stats dont lie

you´ve been long enough on BRM to know, that here and there scammers register and try to cheat members. i remember the last guy very well. he pretend to be a winning high roller, showed false pockertracker stats, stolen graphs from other players and other faked stuff made by photoshop.
he also gave a few bucks to some members, to gain their truth...
lucky he wasnt that smart and a member found out, he scammed a few people on several pokerforums.
so i do be carefully in staking someone i dont know. there´s staking sites..
i think it was you, who almost staked that guy back the days? sorry if im wrong. but im sure you at least will remember.

important: im not saying he is one of them, im carefull with accusations ! just sayin generelly: watch out.
its also not bankrollmobs fault, thats something they can not control 100% and every member has to watch his back by him self.
