If you open an account to a poker or casino site and you send your ID with your picture on it and make a deposit then it is your money.
Even if it was stolen documents if this was done in opening account then where is the problem the guy who stole the documents just played in a false name but the money was is when he deposit the only problem i could see is multiple accounts. I really don't know why they would ask this kind of picture.

Ever heard about stoled documents?
My wild guess: no.
and how then he will withdraw money when he need to do that on bank account,if he nevery deposited money!so he have to know all information about that account and that person,he cant do that on other name!so what would he have! as I said,it is stupid thing!next step will be that we must have chip in our body, that poker site knew are we playing on that address what we have put at registration!
just scan your ID, OR, make a photo of it, put your bankcard next to it, I didn't have to put my bankcard there. AND NO, I didn't send them a photo with my face on it, that is just ridiculous and before you get all weird, just send them a photo of the id itself or scan it.
btw if you deposit and withdraw nothing should be wrong, it works the same as any other poker site. Especially when you made a deposit with a E-wallet, because they are part of credit cards coorps. Then you can expect money on your Ewallet within 24h.. good luck

Really? You think thats how it goes? What about if someone is under age? What about if the person is in some country where you have to pay taxes?

Moneybookers/skrill.. piece of cake.. And its not like your giving your personal information somewhere? Your giving them the ID card anyway,so how hard is it to take a picture with that? Or do you feel that they violate your privacy? Giving them your address, emai andl Passport copy for you is okay but when it comes to your face its somehow not okay anymore?

I know someone who sent his/her government issued ID first on another online poker room. After about a few days s/he received a response from their security department asking for him/her to submit a color photograph holding his/her ID to his/her face. I am skeptical if the incident like this happens only when the site does not believe the ID initially submitted is authentic or sufficient.
