Deep stack freezeout with longer blinds, 20 minutes. You can play player in them much more, not only cards. Rebuy tournaments i hate the most. It is true that ABC poker will most likely get you into money in deep stack but you will never go far with that tactic in them, while in turbo you can get to final table with it.

U got to low the turbo games. They are fast, lots of action, many quick decisions are required and I earn money playing them but agree that rebuys and add-ons are a waste of time...... loose your stack and U R out. that's the name of the game.

The size of the starting stack is not sooo important. It is how the blinds are rise. Most people here seem to like the turbos. I prefer tourneys with longer blind levels. So there is more room to play poker, before the push or fold lottery beginns.

I prefer normal tournaments with 10-15 minute blinds. No rebuys, no addons. There are no coinflips(or much less then in a turbo game), you have time to wait and play only the best hands. Sometimes a bit boring but no lottery

I prefer playing deep stack and no turbo to have more chances to use my skills instead of my luck. I started really good at turbo heads up but then my graph felt down straight and never raised sigh sigh

Intresting, looks like most ppl think deep stack needs more skill than turbo games, I find in the long games ppl wait for the Ak etc, but i then know I can play mid range or low and have a good shoot if the flop doesnt show face cards etc, IMO less skill involved more about killer cards, but in turbo its about spotting weakness (and fast) playing good position and some times the cards dont matter.

I allmost never play tourneys but im pretty sure that the chance of the best player wins increases with the more hands you play. And with that fact in mind I would say that there is a larger chance of the best player winning in a normal S&G than a turbo S&G. I mean you got less time to use your edge on opponent. I would also asume it's harder to get a high ROI in turbo vs normal which doesn't necessarily mean less profit since they run faster.
