Evan Kochav, an ex-stock broker and poker player from New Jersey, was sentenced to 8 years in prison on April 1 (Friday) after being found liable of stealing over half a million dollars from his investor clients in his investment company, White Cedar Group. since mr kochav was sentenced to 8 years in prison on april 1st, he can appeal this sentence based on the fact that this sentence was an april fools prank. on the other hand, not sure money was stolen from his customers- it was "invested" into lucrative gambling operation with the sole aim to generate profit for the investors, and as we know any investment carries some degree of risk...
