Party Poker Question  0
Earning 150 points in one month is quite a lot... even if i dont reach this am i able to cash out, or is it a requirement?

Also, getting $25 i cant realisticly play at higher stakes than NL 0.02/0.04, making 1.25 points for every 20 raked hands. Meaning i'd have to play 2400 raked hands in 30 days. I know thats 80 per day, but its still a lot.

Got the $25 on 10/7/08 (7th october), so had it for 5 days now, and have made 11 party points, and i have played it every day for an hour or two. At this rate in the month i will make about 66 points (less than half needed). I have been playing 98% of hands, and playing at tables with 5 people or less so get to play more hands. Playing like this not helping my bankroll either, been bouncing between $25 to $30.

Also does it count as a raked hand for me if i only get cards but dont bet, or do i have to play the hands?

What % do sit and go's pay to the people who place?

How did the people here build up their bankroll on Party Poker?

You have to contribute with rake to be able to get points. You´ll find more information on the home page how many points you will get.
But if i remember right you vill get 1ppp per 1$ you pay in rake.
At .02/.04 will take some time to make it happend.
I would recomend that you move up in stake
maybe try .05/.10 blinds and only one table that would mean that you buy in with 20% (5$) of your bankroll not very good bankroll managment but what do?
Or you make a deposit of your own
Good Luck

Can't see find anything about $1 rake for one party point.... the next blinds up

"How to earn PartyPoints on cash poker games
For every 20 raked hands played, you will earn points based on the following chart*:

No-limit and pot-limit games
Blinds PartyPoints*
$.02/$.04 1.25
$.05/$.10 1.25 "

If i go up in blinds, i still dont get more points. Unless i go to $0.10/$0.25 Confused and its still only 2 points for 20 hands! So its a lot less risky, and in best interest to play $.02/$.04 i believe.....

Has anyone here finished this bonus without playing 100% risky?

What? Have they changed that? Last time i played at party (a year ago) it was dealt. So multitabling full ring games was the way to go. You could make points even at the lowest level.

Still duno if i'll make the 150.

i wouldnt play on party poker ever again, too many bad beats and it gives you to many flush draws and str8 draws and this makes you chase them.

------------
example, it will give you say 2 spades and the software puts 2 spades on the table, then i dont see any more spades on turn or river , but other players always seem to hit there flush draws or str8 draws

I think earning 150 points is not so hard... You can easly get 30-40 points a day. And also i have to say that PartyPoker rocks... I really like it after the face lift. I play there a lot now, but before the changes i was not playing there...

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Selective memory. Smile

Remember, you can only expect to hit your flush draw or open ended straight draw one out of three hands.

Making a lot more points now by playing 4 x NL $0.02/$0.04 tables at the same time. Will still take me a while though, but will be able to do it now Big Smile

460 points in one night!!! how did you do that?

BTW, it doesnt say i have a restricted or pending bonus...

"Restricted: $0.00 USD
Total restricted $0.00 USD
......

Bonus account
(Pending release)

Total $0.00 USD"

Shouldn't it say I have at least one of these?

I managed to get the 150 points. But I didn't get the extra $25 paid into my account. I contacted PP support and they say that you have to make a deposit to get the extra $25. Strange Confused ... Nothing was said about this in the offer....
