"In coming days, Full Tilt players will be emailed direct and personal information on how this will affect them specifically, which depends on a variety of factors including their jurisdiction and the status of their PokerStars account (if any)," shared Josem to the media.
Players on Full Tilt that already also play on PokerStars should find the transition to be seamless with cash and loyalty points automatically being transferred when the merger takes place.
"In many cases, Full Tilt players who already hold a PokerStars account will not need to update any information or transfer their account assets (loyalty points, cash balances etc) which will be transferred automatically to their PokerStars account and they can simply log in to their PokerStars account and enjoy all the great benefits.
The impact on overall liquidity for PokerStars after the merger takes place is expected to be minimal. PokerStars is by far the biggest online poker room in the world with 13,000 ring-game players based on a seven-day rolling average according to the PokerScout Online Poker Traffic Report. To put this in perspective, 888poker, who is the second biggest online poker network in the world, features less than one-sixth of that traffic with 2,100 ring-game players based off a seven-day rolling average.
Full Tilt is currently well behind the leaders sitting in 14th place with 575 ring-game players just behind Georgian-based Adjarabet and just ahead of the Swedish state-owned Svenska Spel. Additionally, many Full Tilt players may already play at PokerStars perhaps minimizing the impact of the merger for ring-games even further.

Wow! That's tomorrow. I must have been asleep rcently. So, does this mean that FUllTilt as we know it, as a stand alone site, will no longer exist, and all we will get is Pokerstars? I will be interested to see how much of FUllTilt transfers to stars such as The Deal, and their wonderful promotions such as gold rush etc.
I believe that this is going to be a good thing for players playing on both platform... the traffic at FTP is not really very important so better merge both and have only a big one...

The end of another era is near. Pretty much predetermined, since they acquired full tilt i guess Not many things will change from this, besides the fact that you could play in one more online site. I want to see what players will do now, the ones that were hating one and liked the other

17th of may. That is tomorrow, and still no update about the proceedings from Stars. So i guess that nothing more will happen than a mere merger of the accounts, if one had those on both sides.

I am very anxious to see the new Full Tilt site. One said that it will be PokerStars 7 that will be running as a FT skin of PS. However i did not see that anywhere on the news. To damosk don,t worry i read somewhere that the deal will still ber there with some other existing FT promotion.
But now let see if this will be a plus to all of us poker players with the traffic of PS and a lot more games IMO just this could be a plus.

im confused.. what exactly is new or different now? you already were able to move money from one to another room. do they close FT and the players are forced to move to PS or what?
the tourneys and reward system isnt as good as it used to be. if PS didnt buy FT, players probably wouldnt have seen their money again... so who cares if they gone.

now they have to buy party/bwin, 888poker and most importantly duck poker and they will take over the world! poker world that is. best of luck to all the dudes at amaya hq for thinking of this masterplan, one day we all will be citizens of Amayland and be paid in StarsBucks (not Starbucks you nincompoops) which we can spend either in StarsMart or at the poker tables.

Adding Full Tilt’s customers to the PokerStars’ player pool will make a bit difference to the liquidity at PokerStars' games; it will give Full Tilt's players access to a significantly wider range of ring games and tournaments with much larger prize pools. The merger will have the potential to help Full Tilt recapture some of the players who have deserted it for other online poker sites.

So! Today is the BIG day. I simply cannot wait to see what difference this will make to me (and you) in terms of our enjoyment and playing experience at pokerstars. I know for one thing, it could mean one less app and one less program to run on my electronic devices, so that could be a positive. As for the rest of it....who knows?
The best about it ive seen so far in FAQU is that there will be bigger prize pool and better benefits witch as i saw is bringing back the Statuses to the profile, Silver, Gold. Bronce - something i achived in one day and then they took i t away from me but i will be back on the horse again

There will be changes of course after the merge, but that doesnt always mean for the best. Already some changes so far werent, Maybe there are more steps to follow. They have the lead in the market and the are taking advantage of it, so far. Being first doesnt mean you wil always be.

Yes PokerStars is the first in the market and by far on the second one 888. Maybe one day they will loose the market but i don't see that in the near future.
They are so much in advance even when they opened in the U.S there was already some poker site operating and they came on top of them in the first week of operation. If you go in the play money you will see almost only U.S. players there waiting that their government to give the Ok for real money.
Interestingly, and what will be now? Interesting friroll become one Poker Stars more lesser. I like Poker Stars and their ideas, but it isn't pleasant that they overwind tournaments and don't carry out an action for small limits in a cache games. All of good luck at tables.
