i must admit that mr Sengmanivong Soum, the laotian businessman must be a very shrewd man, it's not every day we see laotian businessmen faking their own death for a mere 1.4 million dollaros. mr Sengmanivong Soum's story only shows that there are people who would even eat a bucket-load of poop for a few dollaros.

I am not very familiar with the judicial system, but it seems the prosecution team has been struggling to make a solid case against the defendants. The prosecutors will also have to contemplate how to proceed with the case if the death of Sengmanivong gets proven. It is going to be a lengthy trial.
