Everyone hates a river card like this one. But it doesn't help. The cards fall like they like to do. Of cause there is no way you can fold here before the flop. So mit was just bad luck.

I think that your pre flop raise was OK however today there are many players that don't care about that if they have an ace with any other card they just go all in and sometime they hit.
Just last night i shoved with A Q and got called by A 4 and i lost the hand on a pair of 4.
There is not much you can do about this kind of player except being lucky and they don't it and you win.

It was not a good idea you have called the 3bet him. your hand was excellent, but you knew you could face a coin flip. your intention was this so? risking your tournament by a possible 50% chance? It turned out to be even worse. you had more chances after the showdown, but just from the J of the villain. better luck next time.
hey there fellow but new mobbit player FreeChips4YO, I might think your capslock button is stuck.
Good thing to ask for advice cause you can always ask for advice over here, since it is a poker forum. I am not sure the information given here is the one should follow, but it maybe helps you in your evaluation. Some people DO actually know what they are talking about!
Also another advice, your posts are too short and that's why you don't get points from the forum, read the rules on how to earn points.

These kind of beats are always the bitterest pill to swallow in my opinion. You played the hand perfectly but got very unlucky. To get your chips in good is all that any poker player in the world wants to do
yeah dude s**t happens ... or is that something similar happened to me so many times .... I have stopped paying attention to such things ... do not be sad and play on ... and you sure are lucky

I have some very bad news for you FreeChips4YO. If you are still affected by this and consider it a bad beat then brace yourself tilt is coming.
No fishing, floating, bluffing, semibluffing, herocalling was involved in that hand. Just a plain classic poker gamble. Villain had 24% chance of winning preflop where all the money went in and he got there. Deal with it.

Ouch, my worst preflop hand. Always there is some moron with crazy hand which have more chips from me and he will pay me and then happened what always happened, just like what happened to you here in this hand. But when I have for example QQ and someone pay me with AK ever there is ace or king on river, I hate this haha, but it's at poker always happen we know that. lol
