Hmm i must have a gambling problem. Never experienced what you are saying. When im not playing im longing for a good game. When i take brakes i read up on notes and tries to figure out what mistakes i´ve done. All to improve. I only taken one serious time out. No poker or gambling what so ever. Was the most boring month of my life

Bigfoot, be happy that you are selfreflected enough to know when to play. As we all know moods are quite human, on the other hand i know the unsafe behaviour after a longer break.
Beginning with freerolls isnt the best way i think, you are up with noobs, you ll get cracked by craphands more often, which doesnt really support the feeling of coming back.
Dont know your bankroll, but just start with lower limits, like nl 2 or nl 5 multitabling. Helped me after a break.

way to go.personally i think its realy important to take a break from poker, recharge the batteries, relax.you can play to much of it and your game can suffer.

im addicted too, your not on your own, poker is more addictive than drugs, in fact poker is a drug and should be classified in the same catagory as heroin, coke, and all the other hard drugs

I'm the same, I don't like to play unless I'm feeling 100%. I often take a month off lol. The way I get back into it is give myself a challenge, such as clearing a deposit bonus.
A problem I have lately is my computer going very slow so I'm going to buy myself a computer for poker only
I just had one for 1 & a half month because of work who BTW took only 3 weeks but decided not to play after it then I'm back & discovered that when you don't play for many days, you're more patient but if not it's quite the same. I mean you still need the "luck" factor to win something.

I had a time where I played not much poker.. because of my girlfriend, friends and school. You still have to set the priorities in your life.. for me poker is a great thing but more a hobby than anything else.. today when I'm at work I don't really have the time to think about poker..
Instead of playing wow or cs.. I prefer poker.. sometimes I go to pokerbars instead of going to party..

Tried to reinstall windows? If the computer was faster in the beginning the aging windows installation is slowing it down.
shokaku, you're right. I just have 300 gigs of movies and music I want to keep. I guess the easiest solution is buy a 500 gig external drive but I was thinking of just buying a new computer. Haven't decided yet.

If you really want to keep your stuff you should be able to make a backup. So get another harddrive (internal or external) and make a copy of your data.

Thanks shokaku, are there any brands you recommend? I heard Seagate is pretty good and inexpensive. I was thinking of buying this one 1 TB but I was also considering getting one on ebay.
