There are some truly great Poker players on this list and, whoever is inducted, they would have deserved it. I thought that Eli Elezra would have already been in the Hall Of Fame and he would get my vote

ELI! I support you you're 100% right

All these people are very decent players and of course they have earned this right to the Hall of Fame !!!! but also new players deserve this too much ... I do not understand who is stronger at times when watching poker on TV

There are a couple of names in that list that i have never heard of.
But im not watching closely what happening in this area.
This list is up to show whos making good money in poker and thats all folks. Right? Smile

i dont know any of this players. just wondering how chris moneymaker made it in the hall of fame ?

oh well. who takes this nominations serious anywayys. i mean.. milosevic, g. w. bush and a few other were also nominated for the nobel prize Big Smile

It has been 13 years since Chris Moneymaker, an unknown accountant (at that time) from Spring Hill, Tennessee, revolutionized poker for good. There is no doubt that his 2003 Main Event title produced the biggest boom the poker world has ever witnessed.

yes, but thats all. hes kind of average player imo, and i doubt its his merit that poker had such a boom back the days..?

Some great names in the list as one would expect, but true greatness comes with time. Will anyone be talking about any of these players in 20 years time? Only time will tell. I suppose it's easier these days to become great due to the explosion of media and peoples unqunechable thirst for information and news.... And trash.

Moneymaker is possibly the most important person in poker history... Do not underestimate his impact. I doubt very much that this site would exist for a start without him. He'll make the hall of fame... But not this year - Devilfish is an absolute cert as far as I'm concerned.

Two nominees have never summed up the old and new face of poker so well.
