. . . where players can buy in for £500 + £50 and receive 100,000 chips. . . Day 1 or buying in directly for £5,000 + £300 for 1,000,000 chips. . .

I have never known a tournament with such an enormous number of starting chips. What is the blind structure like?
Mike Sexton... I love this guy. He is so classy.

Not a fan of these super deep structures either. It makes people either play over conservatively or play very loose post flop. So basically if you don't have a HUD or something to help track other payer's stats, it's nearly impossible to make decisions. Sure some people have a balanced TAG game but I really think these HUDs are necessary to make it in these tourneys, to atleast know which players are sharks at the table, and it's sad.

It is a big tournament indeed. Like the buy ins also.
Kinda of dream for some participating in this one, with only hope any low buy in
qualifiers.
If there are any of these lots of people will try to grab a seat. Good luck to all the ones trying.

Interesting news for us all to look and wonder...."if only I could"...... So....get yourself to PartyPoker and play some 0.01c buy ins and build your way to a $530 buy in. It's achievable but extremely difficult. Alternatively, cash out your next 5000 BRM points and build that up to pay for your buy in. A really good investment.
