If you win a ticket via a satellite on PP be careful because it could have only 24 hours expiry date. A lot of people have been having that issue on partypoker canada community forum. They win a 109$ ticket, they come back the next day and it's already expired... Must be frustrating.
I've been playing poker online for like 12 years and I've never tickets expire that fast. Just very strange business move, seems like a very good way to make people go play on other sites...
If that would happen to me I would ask their CS for a refund and never play there again if they don't. But that's jut me

Party poker and their rules. They sure have some strange ones. How many tickets, had i lost there when we were still able to play, with that silly auto registration. You had to remove yourself from the tournament, that was taken place the next day.

So, a certain tournament ticket for a specific event will have to be redeemed within 24 hours after the issued time? That sounds quite unreasonable to me. No wonder a lot players have been complaining about it.

I don´t know abou that, but i´ve got a free 5,50 Jab tourney ticket last week. Perhaps it was easier to ask the Party poker Support to get detailed informations about this case. Or read the FAQ, perhaps you can find a answer there about the rules and conditions.

Not easy to find answers when it comes to tickets in any site. And if the ticket is one with a very short expire and their support takes a while to answer your emails, then it might become a history. So if you cant see for yourselves the expiry, just play with it as soon as possible

Yup! Those lovely people at partypoker changed their rules on expiry dates for tournament tickets a few months ago and caught a few people out. Most tickets used to have a life span of several months or even years.... now, in some cases it's a case of play it today or lose out! Especially with the cheap buy in big win tickets.. make sure you read the small, print first !

Exactly, also, some satellites will auto register you to do target tournament and cannot be used for any other tournament. So if you didn't know and you have to go to work on the next day, you just lost your ticket...
I think it makes no sense though. 109$ ticket is 109$ ticket, it should let you register in any tournament with that buy-in. Even for the room it's a bad move since they might lose players over this.
