Phil Hellmuth is releasing an autobiography (scheduled to hit stores in January 2017) chronicalling his meteoric rise as one of the top poker pros in the world. The book is tentatively called “Poker Brat” proving that Hellmuth may have a sense of humor after all. In an interview Hellmuth says the book will be about “the development of the Poker Brat, how [he] came from struggling so much with ego to finding great success.”

This is going to be one heck of a read and i am looking forward to getting a copy. Love him or loathe him, Hellmuth is one of the most divisive characters in Poker and i bet he can tell some great stories in this book

Yup! Any story from Hell tun is going to be worth a read. Hopefully it will be written in the same style that his poker books have been which are easy to read and entertaining at the same time. I'm sure there will be one or two interesting stories to read through and no doubt a few that will leave us with a different view of one or two people.
Phil Hellmuth certainly a great player and his book will certainly be interesting ... of course I doubt that in this book, he reveals some secrets but Kaka interesting reading this book will certainly ... hope that there exists a man who translated his book into Russian

yeah probably a good read, as a fiction story with some comedy acts included. probably better than reading some random soap bout serial killer who had some sort of psychological issues with hiss a55hole and inner self. oh and some extra income by just bullsh1tting for phil (surely he is used to this).

I heard nothing for a long time about Phill Hellmuth, but i watched his live games on tv in the past and like his gaming style but i don´t like his character And i think he release a interesting book with many amazing Storys about the poker Scene.
How to remain calm while playing poker? How not to tilt? Or just "poker brat"
I don't think I'll be buying that book, but Phil Hellmuth is definetly one of the most interesting poker players. He's been dedicated to playing every WSOP tournament for like 20+ years!

He was never struggling with his ego to begin with because he had full blown narcissism already - so the only ones were struggling are the people around him.

And again this is just a waste of reading I like helmuth as a poker player, but reading a book about his life ? I just dont care at all about it. There are so many much better books, in every category to read, than this one.
Exactly. He is neither extravagant nor interesting in a way that only a gambler could be interesting to another gambler. Besides his egosim there is really nothing going for him to make enough people buy this book to become a decent hit for the company which pushing this out, so I just hope he did not agreed to a million dollar payout just to write this.

Thank you very much again for posting a verbatim excerpt from an article on another gaming related site. This surely is a fantastic and interesting topic. I am eagerly looking forward to the release of his book.

Yea everything for the extra money. If they can get it why not right? Well i think its wrong but who cares. Write it if you have something to tell us about your life. You are just a poker player, so who cares at the end? Maybe some other poker players
