well have to admit that i am not very much into this boxing stuff unless i have to punch some kid in the face and take away his lunch money when i am out of cash and in desperate need to have a reunion with alcohol. best of luck to those who will try to make some cash while betting on this event.

I thought McGregor finished his MMA carrier after his latest fiasco, which was everything but a success for him after all those hype he got during the months, now he is in the octagon again. I would not back him this time, he stayed here for the money.

I have never been into the Ultimate Fighting, i am more of a traditional boxing fan, but even i am excited about this fight. For what its worth, i think that Conor McGregor will win

The card was amazing, even with Rashad Evans vs Tim Kennedy and Cowboy Cerrone vs Kelvin Gastelum out of the prelims because of the New York State Athletic Commission.

But still, the card delivered with great action and important fights in many divisions. Conor McGregor has REALLY impressed me this time. Alvarez was no joke, he's been champion in 4 different organizations and had a record of 28-4... Crazy how Mcgregor made him look like an amateur with his left cross so quick even bruce lee would be proud.

Not all the time, but most of the time UFC not failing to deliver quality entertainment tbh. I like this sport more by every month.

Well, I would say that the more you know about a sport, the more it becomes interesting to analyze the matchups and the little details that make athletes win consistantly. It's a very tough sport and they know that with the 4 oz. gloves they can get knocked out cold at any time... Sometimes it can make some fighters hesitant, especially when they're fighting a guy they know is very dangerous/explosive. Kind of like the Tyron woodley/Stephen Thompson fight where the champ really didn't want to engage at all in the stand up departement. And considering Thompson was 57-0 in pro kickboxing before he started MMA its probably a good idea ^^

Yeah, makes me wander how could they allow for post-teenagers or even teenagers to do this sport. Many contries have amateur MMA match-ups to many different age categories. It's madness in a weird way.

Yeah I agree if it was my kid (if I had one) doing this I would have my reservations... lol

The most dangerous strikes are regulated but still, a very serious injury can happen at anytime with the flying knees (like we saw in bellator this year, gui with forehead cracked by a knee), neck cranks could also be dangerous. But In the end I'm not sure if it's more dangerous than the repeated blows to the head in boxing (sure the gloves are bigger but it also means more hits) or the car crashes (literally) happening in the NFL...
