Pokerstars Dec 11 Cardmatch  0
Hey guys! Anybody won anything doing this?

While I was doing this challenge I was playing like a brick then I realized a lot of people were trying to just steal pots and they quickly gave up when you raised them. So I was able to build a little stack stealing small pots with 3bets and cbets. Then this happened:

Again, I don't know what he had. Maybe AA, maybe AJ. I doubt it's 45 suited or A10 but it could be. Thoughts?

And I got 2,50$ for finishing the challenge. Smile

first of all congrats, now about hand... you should never limp there with KQs specialy if there was limper in front of you... you should raise there 4BB maybe even 5BB... you got position if they call and also if they fold you took blinds and that one limp which is also nice. Flop was standard call, well on turn you could either call or fold... I think both are correct, but I would prefer same as you call, and on river you left 3c behind... you should shove all thing there Blink so all in general I only dont like limping there pre flop....Now about what he can have here... well usualy when some bad player limp UTG he usualy have small pocked pair or mid pair, so I would put him on that, also he could have JT there... doubt that he have something like AJ or KJ because he would raise that preflop, at least he would raise AJ, maybe he would limp with KJ... on flop he was betting slightly biger than half of pot, which represent strainght, so hand I would put him on is JT or 33... also there is one more scenario... he could limp pre with AA to try to trap, but I doubt it beause its so bad play... but hey limping UTG with any hand is bad pay IMO... so to sum it up JT or 33... thats it...

my mistake... didnt see it... tought it was 10/25c LOL still 2.5BB open from UTG is preaty weak... that eliminate that he had AA... rest is same... so he had either JT or 33... there is no other IMO...

you just look at previous hand since he called and it shows what hand he had even if he mucked....

I'm guessing that he must have had at least Ace King but more than likely he had Ace Jack. Another nice pot for you and congratulations to you. The hand pretty much played itself after the flop and it would have been nice to see his cards

Lol yeah, me not putting him all in was a missclick. No way a couple of cents would change his decision anyways.

I also think AJ is what makes most sense. I don't rule out AA because of his 2.5x BB raise though, he could also have 1010, 33 or JJ. But what makes me doubt these hands is the size of his bets. Only half pot, he's not really defending much, seems like he's betting for value and doesn't want to scare me away so It's atleast top pair top kicker for sure.
