When i play on Pokerstars i regularly disconnect form a few second and then reconnect.
I got in touch with them and they told me that it was a router problem so i had my router disconnected and i increase my net speed and still the same problem. . Any of you have this problem.

PINOTTE. I was on stars last night at about 2000 GMT and it kept coming and going and when it was coming it was coming very slowly indeed. Other programmes on my computer relying on internet were irking fume so it looks like it was a problem at the pokerstars end and not yours and seemingly one that went on for some time!
I fortunately do not have such a problem ... it seems to me that your disconnection are caused by your Internet service provider, and probably your best bet is to contact them ... try to play a little on the network to other providers and may be you will see the difference?

yea pinotte...that happens when you watch porn on internet. all the little malware slow down your PC are you using WLAN and what card u have ?
do a speedtest. disconnect your modem for 5mins then reconnect again... just do the usual procedure when things like that happen.

Hi Pinotte, My computer is very weak, someone told me I don't have much memory, well he was right, my memory is bad, but my computer is too weak. I can't play poker stars and too much other software running, or else my ps will crash.
They assume everyone has good computers now a day, which is totally not true, people have quick smartphones and laptops, but some of us also have slow old PCs.
GL and send them a mail. I will also sen one this weekend..

I dont have any problem with poker stars software and works just fine!didnt have any problems for months!and today I was at poker stars, checking something and everything was good!so yeah, maybe problem is at your internet!
Yeah same as Dule-vu here, I have never had any connection issues with pokerstars except maybe once and I think the problem was on their end.
Always check if a website is down or in trouble on goggle before you start doubting your own internet connection/computer. Most of the time it's a DDOS attack or something aimed at the game's servers.

partypoker for me on my laptops has been draining memory and lags which is why i never play there. so ingrind is right in that the software they use plays a big part depending on your computer specs. having fast internet but a old or cheap computer wont give you any benefit.

We had ongoing connection problems months ago and it turned out our router became a potato - despite showing every sign of being alright - so the 'usual procedure' did not help and our ISP sent a brand new one. No problems ever since. So yeah maybe he need to change the whole shebang completely.
somehow for the first time i happened yesterday to me on 888.
I could still use internet on my browser, but maybe it was a problem via 888 I don't know. I am going to send them a mail as well. I actually was betting in a sit and go and lost connection and then after 2 minutes I saw he prolly reraised it and won... too bad, but it was fine, i won a little after that.
But the pokersetars thing happens a lot and that is sad...

calling your provider to change your modem is the usual procedure
they send datas through your connection to check if everything is alright. this is my 5th modem by now, the other 4 also became potatos.
you can say 99% of the time its not pokerstars anyways, because the majority has no problems.

did you have problems on other poker softwares?party poker software or 888poker?it would be strange if its only on poker stars, but again I think thats only because of your internet connection!as somebody say, call provider and solve this!

i rush to inform you mr. pinotte that i have absolutely no problems with my pokerstars connection. it is right there where it belongs- in the history books. there were good times when pochui was able to connect to pokerstars and all the other stars, but fcukin politicians took away my dream of becoming a first ever poker billionaire by banning all major poker sites.

I don't think I have ever been disconnected while sitting at the table; however, I occasionally notice a slight lag or delay in lobby since their software was switched to PokerStars 7. The software really needs a little tweak.

It should be, but somehow me and the nice indian fella who answered us on live chat - since their help center was outsourced to the end of the world - did not get along well during the whole process and they only did something when we threatened them that we gonna change to a different ISP.
