I just completed the daily challenge on 888poker. The challenge was simply to be dealt QJ of any suits and win a hand with it, either in a 1$+ Sit & go or at a NL5+ cash game table.
So I played some 1$ sit & gos. Got coolered in the first two 36 players SnGs I tried after building a good stack in both so I didn't really feel like playing anymore but I tried 1 more 9 players SnG.
I had the chip lead the whole time untill guy on my right shoved K7 suited with 4000 chips (I had about 5.6k). I had A7 on BB so I snap called and he hit his K on the turn. But then right on the next hand I get QJ on the SB, same guy shoves JJ and I hit my queen with my remaining 5 big blinds. Then I take a look at my balance and I see 50$ was added to it, so my bad luck turned into good luck in just 1 hand! Also ended up winning the SnG

Yeah, my experience is the same - they usually don't give out free money, theres always some fine print behind their promotions.

I hope i am mistaking but be sure and make verifications.
I to got 50$ for column and this get directly to my balance. Only thing is that amount is not withdrawable, you must wageer this. But you can use them for playing.

A nice bonus amount, which according to the rules above, it has a play through. So get ready foro some grinding there and good luck on your tries all, to release the bonuses you got. How many points you get there with rake, cause with 3.5 per $ can be quite a lot.
Really? did you get the 0.1 % chance of getting that 50 dollar?? if so that is just great man. That is a good compensation if I might say so..
I am also playing this challenge and have completed every day, one time I got 5 dollar and like 3 times one dollar. the rest tickets. for completing one row I got also 5 dollar. So I am just going to complete this month although i'm slightly negative but i won a little in casino so i never really matters the small loss I made this month in poker.
But I lost it all in 1 hand playing PLO when I saw it had play through requirement I decided to gamble hard with it. Anyways I'm happy with the spot I put my money in just terribly unlucky.
I had Ad8d10c4h, flop was 10 4 8 with 2 diamonds... Managed to get the other guy all in. Somehow he had 103 in his hand and turn and river came 3 and 3... lol.

The quest/mission for today is to play in three or more Blast tournaments,minimum buy in off $1 so I think I may give that one a go. I mistakenly thought that you had to complete a line/row to get the bonus but apparently not and a $50 bonus for $3 is a good deal if the playthrough is reasonable. I think TheMachineQC was very lucky though as the odds of winning the $50 bonus,according to the terms is 0.10%.....93% chance of winning a freeroll ticket!! If you complete a line on the map you do have a 82% chance of a $5 bonus or 0.10% for $500 or 0.01% for the big $5k.

knowing 888, something tells me that whoever wins 5K, it is just blocked and funds confiscated

It wasnt play money, You did it with that play of yours. You could have played a more conservative game, going after the requirements. Wasting in one hand 50 $ is a bad bankroll management It was bonus only for poker play?

I tried reading the T&C about the bonus but 888's bonus terms are just terrible. They think you'll read the terms of every bonus out there just to find the one you're looking for?
When I saw their T&C were the same as 5 years ago, I didn't bother trying to understand what the hell a bonus point is. Makes no sense to me to have playthrough requirement on a bonus like this, so I was happy to try and double up with it, then I would have managed it differently if my opponent didn't catch a runner runner 1%. I'm not gonna grind a bunch of points for hours just to end up getting screwed by the rake and more fine prints. I'd rather give the 50$ to that donkey this way atleast 888 gave something to somebody... lol
Shitty promo if the best prize you can get is actually not a real prize. Anyways, when I lost the 50$, the bonus status became "terminated". So it's all good.

hahah I wonder what happens if you get that 50k for completing it.
btw, have you ever tried to wager it in casino? (if that is possible with this bonus money, i don't know) if you just try to play even or even a minor loss will be ok, but it is some work. That combined with some sit n go's etc.
This 888 wager requirements are really hard, so only if you really want it is possible, but you just don't care, no deal

So! I have been taking part in this promo and have missed out on just two days yet, which makes a mess of the grid but still there's time left yet to make up ground and complete a couple of lines to see what additional bonus I can get. Give it a go if you play at 888 as it keeps the fun in the game and makes it interesting.

50 $ that are restricted and you have to make a number of points to release them, the only good thing is that you have fun for a long time, you also level up.
You also get gold tokens that can be redeemed for cash or tickets and online shop merchandise. Another strategy too clear the bonus money is grind blast sit n goes and go for the biggie good luck.
