poker sites that will link to paypal?  0
OK, this might seem weird but I'm having a hard time finding poker sites that take paypal. Why is that?

I know that paypal in the US won't do poker sites, primarily because of most sites being banned in the US.

But I'm in Canada, and I have a paypal canada account, with USD in it. I've found a rather convoluted way to get my USD into my Canada account without converting, so if anyone wants to ask me about that please do. From there I can apparently put it to 888 but not PS. Weird, but that's a separate issue I guess.

But I can't find any poker sites where I can easily put USD from my paypal canada account into it and back. They all require ewallets which charge fees, or a credit card which has cash advance and conversion fees.

Any help?

I recommend you use neteller or skrill .. and with your paypal account you can transfer to the accounts previously mentioned, with neteller or skrill is more comfortable to deposit in poker rooms and even to get some prize here in bankrollmob you will need some of the two You name it, I recommend you register one of those accounts. Hello fellow forum member Odysseus101, I never took a look at PS's deposit methods, but I can understand your problem, because with Skrill you can't pay everywhere (I mean on webshops). It is very awsome if you can transfer it to paypal, since you can buy stuff with your hardly earned poker dollars. However I use skrill a lot like Waoz and Ivanjkp. But the last time I cashed out from 888 I just did it to my bank and it only took a few days (minus weekend). Something liike 3 working days, which is still OK.
GL above the tables! Thumbs Up

That would be great. I love how quickly sites like DraftKings pay-out via Paypal.

Big Smile< ...Hey Odysseus.... The absolute BEST thing to do is get yourself an InstaDebit account...!

Big Smile< ...It's a PayPal like ewallet that is accepted at the 3 sites I play at, which are PokerStars, 888, and PartyPoker...!

Big Smile< Get it in U.S. dollars,...not Canadian,....simply because all buy ins at the poker sites are IN $U.S.

Big Smile< About once per week I send my winnings to there, where I can just let it sit until I need to use it to send back to any poker site,....OR, transfer the money back to my bank account here in Canada...!

Big Smile< ...It's easy to set up,....and best of all,...the fees are VERY reasonable...! I wouldn't have it any other way...!

Big Smile< Good luck to ya...! Smile Thumbs Up Dollar

I do not understand why to use these payment system? if you have the opportunity to top up your account using the card Visa or Master card .... and the payment goes directly without intermediaries with their commission paypal .. but would certainly appropriate for payments but for some reason it is not used

Agreed demodawggy, Instadebit works very well too.

I too would like that manor poker sites like pokerstars, party poker, 888 poker and many more would let us use paypal as deposit and withdrawal method, I use my paypal account to pay in ebay most and it would be comfortable to use same account for poker, now I have to use another account like skrill

In my country there is exchange control, our visa and master cards are not authorized to finance with foreign currency. So the only method we can use are the purses.

I've tried that, obviously. But you get a zillion hits, most of the info is wrong or out of date. I can give you a dozen links to "poker review sites" that say PS takes paypal when it doesn't (well, it does in some parts of Europe and for play money purchases), but you get my point.

I'm just trying to maximize reload bonuses. Often, the "instant bonus" gets half eaten up by currency conversion, cash advance on credit card, ewallet fees, bank charges for echeques or international transfers, it's insane. I just want to get my money onto a poker site easily and for free. I don't know why that's so difficult.

It is a good idea to ask our kind and knowledgeable fellow mobsters if you have any questions, especially country-specific issues like this one. Occasionally, googling or searching online won't help resolve the matters efficiently.

yeah this has been my head scratcher for a while... paypal ze biggest online wallet in the whole world and north korea is only accepted in like the smallest 10 poker rooms in the world. not sure what is the reasoning behind this, maybe when/if online poker comes back to us of a full time things will pick up.

When I use a credit card, there are both conversion fees (either on the card or site, since I'm using Canadian dollars), a "cash advance fee" charged by the card, and interest starts to run from day one because the card considers it an advance rather than a purchase. Using a credit card is among my least preferred options, although it's obviously the most secure.

I have also been trying to find the best deposit/withdrawal option for 888.

888 support are telling me that Instadebit is not an option.

Dear X,

I hope you are well today, thank you for your message.

X, I apologize for any confusion, however Instadebit is not a valid withdrawal method, what other customers are using is a wire transfer, which goes back to your bank account, however directly though Instadebit is not a possibility.

Your options for withdrawal from Canada are a wire payment, iDebit or Entropay. To use Entropay or iDebit, please make a deposit into your xxx account with this method.

Should you prefer a wire, please update below information of your personal account in your cashier or send them to us for manual update:

Hello Lloyd,

Thanks for your response.

I am talking with other Canadians who play on 888 and they are able to
withdraw funds to Instadebit.

Why can't I?

Regards,

X (player X)

thanks for the explanation ........... I can not understand the laws of different countries (including mine) that prohibit people to play online poker ........ if people like it, he will find a way to do so and no prohibitions will not prevent ... good luck in the deposit and withdrawal of money

I'm told that GlobalPoker works with PayPal in Canada and US. But you win gold coins to spend on draws or something like that? Anyone play there, and do you recommend it?
