I am on a work computer and it is playing up. Chrome doesnt work at all, it just closes after 3 seconds. Explorer is playing up, for instance I open email in it, it opens the first email (but wont open the attachment) and refuses to let me open any other emails, it just keeps showing the first one.
When I open a new tab and it has all the boxes to show most frequented, these are always blank. I cant save anything to favourites at all.
Comp says it is windows explorere11 for win 7 sp1.
I need to access it all urgent (preferably chrome).
I think it could be a cookie problem but cant work out how to fix it.

i feel like my computer is somehow blocking something (and i have limited access to change settings because work block it)
you have to delete all trace of chrome... see where is installed, and make sure you delete all after uninstal... also I think there are some traces in documents... maybe try to run antivirus scan just in case...

In my case I can help you in certain tips on poker topics, with regard to the subject of your computer only you could recommend, take it to a technician to review, you may be right that the problem is solved by removing cookies as may not have Reason, but the diagnosis is given by a specialist .. luck
maybe you have a virus, so how about formatting your computer or if you don't want that you can always install an anti virus called : malwarebytes
Watch out with installing antivirus of other brands. They often are spyware them self and make your computer slower. SO NO NORTON or any other "spyware".
When you press CTRL ALT DELETE > press Windows Task Manager > Processes
here you can see a list of software running on your computer, check in google all names and see if they are spyware
I got this help of a friend of mine since I also suck with computer and he told me to do these simple steps.. GL kweenie! EVIL COMPUTERS!!

I am not a computer technician but to me it look very much like a virus and if your anti-virus can't find it and make correction than i would go with Ingrind solution.
However if you reformat your disk you will lose everything and you have to know how to re-install windows.
Ah, I thought you were having the same problem as me with partypoker. Couldn't log in to my account for a while. After trying like 6-7 times everytime I would click on log in nothing happened so I tried reinstalling the program. When that didn't work I thought why noit delete all my cookies and stuff with ccleaner. Then I look back at my partypoker software and suddently im logged in for some reason. Not the first time I have a weird software bug with them! My internet was working fine and I was typing in the right password so it had to be a bug.

whenever i have any computer problems i solve them using well tested and ever working solution of banging my pc/laptop against the wall, then collecting what remains of it and putting it in the recycle bin (pun intended) and then buy a new preferably cheap pc/ laptop... not much of a technician i guess...

Problems of this kind have nothing to do with cookies i believe. It is more to it than cleaning the cookies cache etc. A rollback may help in this case, to a previous state that the computer was working fine. Depending on computers this process can take quite some time. The last time i did one, it took me about four hours, so it is not recommended when you are in a hurry.

Again with the bashing of Norton Antivirus When I first installed this anti virus after having a very slow running laptop it ran 10X faster and I have the ultimate protection against incoming threats
