Here are the results of the BRM Sunday freeroll on Party Poker. Congratulations to all winners specially to forum reg. ingrind who made ITM and ivanjkp who managed to make final table.

well after 10min I had like 4k stack and got dealt AA... I open 3BB guy on button 3-bet, I 4-bet, he shoved, I called... he god AQdd flop gived him flush drow, and gut shot, and he hit dimond on river, left me with 300 chips (10BB) which I shoved next hand with JTs, evryone folds, and right next hand I shoved with K7s and got sucked out with TT congrats ingrind and ivan

3bet and shoving with AQs - nice. These people really believe that they are holding unbeatable cards and then the software always there to help them out. Funny and sad... Better luck next time!
Hey there guys, thanks to pinotte for posting the results! Today I got in a rage and was swearing on a guy (forgot his name) who called my 3.5 times BB bet with 89 ofsuit, so I was calling him names, cause I got really pissed , he stole like 4k/5k of chips of me (calling with donk hand 89 ofsuit), then this guy, Fish.gets.paid(cro) was also giving a big mouth, I told him he was also a trash hand player. BUT both of them made something like this comment: "Why would you care how we play, this is a freeroll". and I am like NO, phuck you donk retards... this BRM freeroll is not a reason to be calling station donk retard to call with trash hands. Bingo morons. I told him that he is a spoiled rich kid, playing with his fathers money, some people just don't have respect. I get quickly mad because there are too much stupid people who treat this tourney like it is some "free" bingo fest, it's not... We all want to play some nice poker and it doesn't work when people are limping every phucking time and call with trash hands, what are you thinking. Also I want to make a notice that pokernick "marzepp" is also a limping trash hand playing retard, limping literally 9/10 hands , read a phucking book if you can't think/know about how to play poker.
anyway, I cashed every week!!!, last week I called too much didn't play tight and lost with KK, my own fault, but there are too much idiots who don't know how to play poker.
but again this one thing DON'T FREAKING TELL ME THAT THIS IS A FREEROLL AND YOU CAN PLAY HOWEVER YOU LIKE because you are just a sad person without honor if you want to play like a bingo calling station trash hand player. Phucking morons..........
But then again, I cashed in both BRM freerolls, so I am the last one who is laughing, GL all, and please respect the BRM freerolls, AGAIN if you don't know/think how to play, read a book about poker or something, you can't think for yourself because you are a beta male!!

a few names again this week itm,i like Ingrind got a swift kick in the balls by a Russian guy pushing all in,waiting on a hand good enough i got KK and called him,he shows 4-7 and hit the wheel on the river.....not to worry though theres always next week....

So you decided to "respect the BRM freerolls" by letting the timer run out in every single hand when your stack was between 0,5 and 2 big blinds? Wouldn't folding or shoving quickly show more respect to the other players in the table, allowing them to play more hands during a level?

Hey there Gerimantas, there are queit often freerolls on PP where you can find the pass at google. If you play those you can het some dollars to make some points. Good luck with this!

The MORE hands you play, the higher change you DIE! It is just a tactic to play slow and there is a timer, so I can use that time, you know what is also funny that I am play 4 windows on 2 clients, so I actually need time to click and THINK. People who are on my table BENEFIT and have HIGHER change to finish at final table, since the game goes slower on my table and then people at other tables die sooner.

But please listen: To all other people who don't understand my rage, this is a POKER forum. So expect that WE, members of the BRM forum at least try to play poker and not some bingo donk fest. I can understand that people play the first year like a donk and you need to understand the game to get better, this is a process, but some people NEVER try to improve and they simply play donkish and some of them use the BRM freerolls as an EXCUSE to play it like a bingo lottery.
Poker is skill and odds, mixed with a little luck, it is not solely driven by LUCK, then rather play other card games in your local elder retirement home or shisha lounge.

Funny, so far I've thought that playing more hands per level benefits the better players at the table since they have more chances to exploit the weaker ones. If that's not true, shouldn't better players have higher edges in turbo or hyper turbo tournaments when compared to regular ones? Since you're an adult and a self-proclaimed respectful player, I have no doubt you can explain the opposite view without derogatory terms or calling names. There's a chance people may even learn something, which can't be a bad thing in a poker forum.
Please enlighten us: what's the perfect playing tempo in your opinion, how many hands should a table play in a let's say 10 minute level? Should it be the same from the first hand onwards or does the tactic only go into effect later (and when)? If everyone agrees to stall the maximum time allowed, they'll eventually end up being forced all in as the blinds rise. Then it's just a lottery or "a bingo donk fest", which to my understanding was the opposite result of your wishes. If everyone isn't allowed (or simply shouldn't) to use the stalling tactic, who is? If there are two tables left and both begin to stall, who benefits the most?
It's always a bit sad to see people resorting to calling names when someone disagrees with them, especially when they themselves preach about respect.
You can't draw too many conclusions from my playing, since I rarely play at Party (or anywhere else for that matter) these days. The easy money days are long gone and I've had better things to do than trying to keep my game in shape. I'd be a losing player with any meaningful stakes, that's for sure. That's also why I mostly entertain myself with the occasional satellite or low-stakes tourney. In yesterday's freeroll I made the FT, but it was the first in a while. Open limping isn't my style though, if anything I'm playing too tight. With a sample size this small I'd recommend you to keep playing poker instead of trying your hand at being a psychoanalyst. I'm not offended or upset, I just found your post funny. There's a big difference - if we compare our posts it strongly looks like you'd be the one with anger issues, but it's all good.
If you're 4-tabling, good for you, but constantly timing out sound suboptimal to say the least.
I'd also love to hear how the other members feel about this, so go ahead and let us know!

wow what a rant from ingrind, even resorting to the last thing imaginable... the bold text. this issue probably means a lot to her, i usually support ladies, hoping for some nice melons in exchange... but this time i have to disagree with what she has to say- people very often get called names (you know the usual "fish" for starters and a continuation of other f words), but really everyone is totally free to play whatever he likes, at whatever stakes he wants, with whatever cards he wants... there is no right and wrong way to play (as long as you're winning you can do whatever you want, and maybe even winning is not your priority)... so i guess we should be more tolerant to those fcukin fishes.

big congratulation to ivanjkp with 15 $ and ingring33 with 5 $!at least we had two regulars ITM!so its not bad freeroll!I did play yesterday,but just couldnt get hand to win it,when I had AA or JJ nobody to pay even small preflop raise,when I had straight of flush draw on flop,couldnt get that last card to win hand and I must lose chips!on last hand pushed all in with A 6 and ofcourse lost! and about ingring33 post,about donks,just can say

I have to agree that constantly timing out is an issue in freerolls. A lot of people abuse the timer as if it's a strategy. Well, it is obviously not. It's mostly driven by a lack of confidence in your own game, or by bad experiences getting coolered when you did the right play. Don't let bad experiences make your game nitty and weak.
I see a lot of people abuse the timer. I hope most rooms would reduce the timer by like 5 seconds, we're given too much time to play in general. For exemple when playing Tennis the ref can take a point if you take too much time just to break the other guy's rythm. It's not 100% fair-play in my opinion.

I dont know a lot about poker, just play how i want and not think a lot about if I am making good or bad moves according to books, maybe I too am a fish, but a happy fish i just try to play how I like and have fun in the tournament, no fun in exit of course, but this not changes my game.

If the table is tight, it pays out to be the table bully, not if there are 5+ morons who call/bet every time.
So when there are 5+ morons calling and betting all the time with trash hands. It pays out to be super tight.
conclusion: tight table, aggressor has advantage
aggressive table, tight person has advantage
When you just play with other people who play "your style" there will be too much coinflip moments. and too much risks of dying.
I don't know if you guys ever observed tournaments with a higher buy-in. then you can see what range they play and let me know what differences you see compared with the bingo/calling station fest that is currently going on here.

yes i really agree that most of the players are so thight but that wont you let that your skill will affected make a reverse play as a agressive plays and the stats that u have have good percentage play

BIg LOL's on this thread. Strategy is there for a reason; and that's not just to get the best hand. Strategy is there to get into the heads of other players in such a way that it will give you an edge. However you do that is up to you..... but don't disrespect another player who plays differently. Different is fine. It's what we all do!
