It is not like millions of people every week do not do the same damn thing. I wish them luck and hope it is a healthy child. beyond that like bowie say's .... Who the hell cares.
What only people will not do to attract attention to themselves ... if at the poker tables the game does not go very well then these people use the most ridiculous ways to pay attention to them and eventually make it more famous and of course money ... MONEY!!!
I wouldn't say they are a famous poker couple to be honest. Jason Mercier is one of the most famous poker player but that doesn't make his couple famous. I think I have only seen the name natasha mercier once and it was this year so yeah...
Anyways good for them, hopefully the kid will be smart like his daddy. This planet needs more brain power!!

yeah just like the machine dude i too don't think they are BOTH famous in poker world, sure jason mercier is a poker celeb, having won many dollaros, been playing on tv shows and major tournaments etc., but this natasha... don't get me started on this... let's just say that she is just natasha.

So, baby mercier is on the way. Watch this space in say, 18 years time and look out for the new mercier on the block... steamrolling tournaments and getting multi million dollar deals from poker companies to represent their interests as he waltzes around the poker circuit with two roll models as parents.
The child in this family will learn the basics of playing poker from childhood and maybe in the future will become a good player .... this is certainly only an assumption because many children do not follow the path of their parents but the prerequisites are certainly very good
