well what can i say, Lengpudashi sounds way better than Libratus... NOT. i kinda wish those chinese poker pros would own the Lengpudashi big time and have fun doing that... all of this AI beating the sh1t out of humans in every sphere possible is beginning to piss me off, we humans must stand up against all the Lengpudashis of this world and show them who's the boss...

These sort of things are always fascinating to me and i will be looking forward to seeing who comes out on top. I think that it will be the computer who wins but you never know

It is a fascinating proposition..... AI playing poker against people. It's interesting when you consider all the arguments about luck or skill and also the issue of the personal approach and the concept of poker face, does AI have poker face? Looking forward Tom see what the outcome is. Of course if AI wins the prize AI will be having a fantastic AI night out!

This will be a fascinating event! The game play will be streamed via numerous broadcasting partners and total views of the streaming video will easily reach tens of millions worldwide over the five-day event.

I really don't know why someone gave you a minus on your post but i cancelled it.
It will be very interesting to see the outcome of this game but even after a win against four players they found some way to improved it .
Meaning better poker for the computer IMO human will have problem against this one.

Isnt that a waste of time for all these "scientists", keep making AI for poker. So what if they can make the best for it. Where are they going to use it after all. All is done for the show?

Thank you very much, pinotte, for your kind gesture. It is really good to know that we have a good-hearted person like yourself on this forum. Please let me send you back a couple of upvotes. I hope you have a great weekend.

Chinese players have a chance to beat artificial intelligence ... because I think that they are very similar))) ... this is of course a joke but the Ktiayans can play very consistently and roughly as well as the machine .... I believe in the victory of the Chinese

I too kike pajalnick believe that chinese players have a chance tonwin this maych, but i don't see this chance a big percentage, maybe like 10-30%, so computer is the favorite of this match and only thing that give chance to humas is that not many hands will be played

I dont know what you know, but from what i have heard of and what i know so far, all these so called AI's are programs targeting a specific section or sector if you like. Its not like a universal program that can do everything.
You cant put google's AI driving the car, to play poker and vice versa. I believe they are still far from actually making an AI that actual is one and can do everything. I would still call them programs, or software

This battle against a machine show us, that they test a new bot... i think this was not a good news for online poker, because they can use this bot later. But for the public they create it like a battle- poker pros vs. a poker program. This was not good for all serious players.

I've been checking out the tourney results yesterday and I guess the AI beat the Chinese players. And what amazed me is the AI as the ability to generate bluffs

Can you find any links from actual game play against the AI. All i can find now and in the past from the game plays against liberatus for example, had only comments. Not a single hand from the actual play.

So! The AI won this game. It's great to hear that despite the human players using such skills as bluffing, the AI learns from this and can probably even learn to bluff for itself. I would love to be in on the AI night out on the back of this huge win..... it would be a blast..... guys talking about how they can improve the AI!

yup i see that program are made tough enough to beat its standard ,i suppose it's more realistic than ever ,however playin in real world is most of the skill good luck guys and have fun.
This AI revolution is scaring me a little bit, it really looks like AI can do almost anything better than human, not a big surprise really , since it is created so that it can use and process tons of information very quickly. So what us poor humans are left to do? Play poker for play money?

there is nothing really to be scared of lady from the wonderful lands deeply covered with cows manure called lithuania. ai will not come after you, because it will first test it self out on guinea pigs and then move over to ordinary pigs... so for a foreseeable timeframe we are safe, at least until we run out of pigs...
I personally think that artificial intelligence will be unbeatable in the long term, so we simple poker players have to limit our games to smaller buyin tournaments or try to play live poker more. This is not a trend I enjoy, burner have to adapt to the situation as best as we can.
