Verry sad news that such a young sports pro was dying in a prison. And not ever we can believe the story behind this news about his suicide, is that true or not... He had a future after the prison and normally a manager give him a second chance in his sport.
Suicide in prison is always suspicious ... maybe it was the revenge of the relatives of the murdered person or did he quarrel with someone in prison ... maybe everything ... or he was just tired of being locked up and freed his spirit

From what i read, the article was talking about two crimes. He was found not guilty for the 2012 one but guilty for the 2013 one. I dont think he had any future dacapo. He was in for life with no parole, so nothing was going to change for him.
This has nothing to do with gambling nor casino/poker related tbh. He was just your average psycho who was getting around treating people like $hit because he watched Scarface/Goodfellas way too many times during his high school years - until one point he just thought its okay to act like the characters in those flicks. Neither the NFL nor the sports world has lost anything of value with his death.

What a story this is. This guy had everything going for him and he lost it all. It is very sad to hear about his death but, we should not forget, he was in jail for a heinous crime but it is still very sad

Well the truth is a shame to see things like this ... but good is the vidad and one sometimes does not usually understand the reasons why the person reaches those extremes, but only the one who is in that situation I think he really knows ...
