Doesn't look good.
MPN, the network they joined a year ago, has suspended PKR's service at the request of PKR itself. PKR is regulated by the same guys, that regulated FT, when they went under.
As usual, if a room, that was stand alone for a long time, finaly joins a network, it is not a good sign.

PKR had a very interesting poker platform/software but their promotions and tournaments were pretty bad. As much as I wanted to play there, I never felt like they deserved my business simply because they didn't offer anything good to the players. Feels like they burned their budget on making the actual software then they failed to create the demand. I deleted the program like a year ago because they never had interesting offers and their e-mails were just spamming my junk box with crappy offers.

I agree with you PKRpoker is more a RPG game than a Poker site you pay to make the software to run costing high bandwitch and a lot of money to secure the process. PKR offer point to customize your profile but since the currency switched to EURO nobody win single tournament on that site.
Further to earlier announcements, PKR limited and PKR Technologies Ltd have filed applications to Court for Administration orders, which will be heard in the week commencing 8th May 2017.
Further information will be placed on this website following the hearings.
This information will include contact details for players and creditors to address queries and details of the process.

By reading the first post i thought it was another of those ddos attacks that has been going on lately, till i read pinotte's post. Lets see what will happen with players money and if they will pay them. It was reputable site,, so i dont think it will be hit and run, but who knows

It is mournful, indeed, to witness the collapse of PKR Ltd and PKR Technologies Ltd. PKR was definitely a stand-out among other online poker rooms in terms of its top-notch graphics, first-person camera view, customizable real-life-looking avatars, friendly community, etc.

The last post sums up the problem nicely. Graphics, camera views, avatars take center stage. Or short, gimmicks instead of games. But it is the games that keep a room going. Those gimmicks wear off rather quickly, and then the players move to Stars, PP or iPoker.

i cannot say i agree with shokaku 100%, PKR has developed at least what they thought of a way to compete with major rooms, by offering a different gaming experience, where they failed imho is that the game was too slow and the experience itself was stagnating, nothing new was added, if they wanted to gamify the industry, they had to come up with new versions of software/update more regularly with new stuff added constantly to keep players entertained.

Wow that is the same reason I removed PKR from my system way back when. I never really liked there socalled promotions and the 1 time I tried to da a cashout request the made me jump through so many hopes that it just totallt pissed me off. Then the cash out took 2 1/2 months to actually receive it. so it was bye bye PKR.
hope everyone is doing well best of luck to you all be cool
PKR was and would be the best graphics we ever had in the industry and what is happening to them now is pretty very sad for sure but we all hope topic poster will get hi winnings...

Maybe their software at first was the one that messed things up. It was the one to draw people there in the first place, but it was also too "heavy" for the most computers, thus many of the players were getting away. And the light version wasnt that popular from what i know.
I'm certainly very glad that with this poker room I was connected very little ... I tried several years ago to play there but quickly became disappointed and forgot about this poker room ... and then this news
PKR players have been unable to access the MPN-hosted site for more than 48 hours leading to widespread speculation on social media. Now it has become apparent that PKR has experienced financial troubles and has been suspended from the MPN network at its own request.

i just wonder what the hell is going to happen to players funds... the owners now have to make a tough decision- either give players their money back, or invest it in never-ending all inclusive holidays (alcohol, weed and hookers), real luxury estate and private yachts and planes. tough choice...
