I want this thread to serve both as my "hello community" thread and a bit of a blog.
So let me introduce myself a bit, my name is John I'm 20yo and I'm a psychology student from Madrid (Spain). I've always been atracted to poker and saw this as an oportunity to try.
I got the $40 bonus on friday and started playing at milliondollar, gave a try to the lowest NL ring games but it just didn't work. You can't play real poker there. So I started playing 10/25c games and got to $150 last night. And today I got a bit unlucky at first and droped $50 then I played on 25/50c and raised to $323 so far.
That includes the first 700pop and the $50 release.
By the way sit&go's on this site, I just don't feel confortable for some reason.
Last for now, is my opinion about the poker software used in mdp. It's pretty decent, in fact nicer than some other sites I've played on, there are not enough players, but that's maybe because it hasn't been around for too long.
I miss some features, like:
-Last hand information. (Like the one on FullTilt, nicely view what happened in the last hand in case you want to)
-Mini-view of tables. (You can't resize, nor toggle a miniview to ease multitable playing)
-Background change for the table (I just can't stand that car/bike weird bg)
-Hoover notes (you have to actually click on the user and the notes to get to see them, instead of just putting the mouse over it like other sites)

Hi! Good results. There are some things to be done on this poker room. The amount of players is not so big. I hope in future we'll overcome it. Keep on winning.

hi john, sounds like you have your head screwed on right, though it is very important to be comfortable where you are playing, so look around and you"ll do some damage.
