It took today a good three hours to reach the money with 61 players with the 888Leaderboard tournament. I think it would be better to make future tournaments no rebuy freeze outs or knockouts with extra points given for bounties for a $4 buy in you can play an 8K tournament over on Poker Stars.
We all understand why you requesting such game structure but with the rebuys available it is a win win situation for both BRM and 888 so I doubt they will change it unless the games reach over 500 entrants...

Yes a lot better is format with no rebuys or and addons, they only make the game last so much longer and cost more to play, people start very loose knowing that they can just rebuy and if you don't want to spend money you can be out bery wuick with you aces have to be good to 5 or 6 callers.
Rebuy and addon of course do not need !!! ... those people who have money on the account can play much more risky and therefore the terms of the game become unequal .... therefore the best option is the first option

The best tournament serial will be like this... There must be buy in of at least 1$ that will reduce people from 2000 to 100-150 per tournament (now there is even less people because of bad structure and rebay + addon and i must investe 4$ to tournament and if i have luck after 4-5 hours of playing will be on FT thats terrible)... So no rebay or addon buy in of 1$ start stack 3000 chips blinds 5min per level starting from 25/50 and most important also without late registration thats also iritate much.... And also will be cool to be every day tournament not ones or twice per week (on 888.poker or part.y poker) Also point structure is very bad because one first place bring like 5-6 time final table in row and finishing 5-9 place... Its best to make somthing like this if tournament have 100 players the 100th place brings 1 point 99th place 2 points...1st place 100 points it will be more interesting and be more fairnes to all...
This way of counting point will put players they must play every day if they want to be in top positions so everybody will be in win win situation more player will play and that is good for poker room bankroll mob and for players

If the tournament has more returns with the current structure, i doubt they will make any changes. It all comes to it at the end. Looking at the time a tournament lasts isnt a priority although i understand it is a pain playing for so many hours with a double figure number.

If they run next time this leadebord with all same thing i dont want to play,now i starded and i finish till end. Adon is 2$ ,i didnt see on other tournaments something like that,when buyin is 1 $ ,addon should be same 1$. Just 1000 chips for start,but if u have money u can use rebuy for another 2000. I dont like points structure.And one hour late reg is too much for this type of tournament.

ahem, i don't give a sh1t really. i don't play them anyway- my skills are too poor to make it any further than first 10 minutes of play, so unless it's a first hand all-in (a coinflip) or an unlimited rebuy until the money places i have no chance of making it.
Yeah I agree that the structure is too slow in the 888leaderboard tournaments. I don't really mind it being a rebuy/add-on or not but the structure itself isn't fast enough. Of course if there was less nits and more creative players we wouldn't have that long of a bubble problem but still.
I also find odd that the add-on gives 2000 chips for 1$. It's basically making the tournament a 2$ + 2$ buy-in instead of a freeroll. The Add-on is kind of a no brainer because its 4000 chips for 2$. Doesn't make any sense.
